Story
Meet Bob and Marley, the ultimate dynamic duo of puppy adorableness! These 4-month-old Chihuahua-Beagle mixes are here to steal hearts and possibly chew a few shoes (puppy perks, right?). At 12 and 14 pounds, they’re pint-sized bundles of energy and charm, ready to wiggle their way into your life. While these two look like they were separated at birth, they’ve decided to spread their cuteness far and wide by finding separate forever homes where they can shine in their solo acts. Friendly, playful, and 100% adorable, Bob and Marley are the kind of puppies that make you go, “Is this real life?!” Spoiler: It is, and they’re waiting for you. So, if you’re ready to add a sidekick to your adventures or a cuddle buddy for movie marathons, adopt Bob or Marley today. But fair warning—you might be tempted to take both! If you are interested in finding out more about Bob, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRO/Dog Like Broken Tail Rescue on Facebook!. Follow Broken Tail Rescue on Instagram! Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.

Story
Let us introduce Brownie. He is a fiercely loyal, loving, charming, silly, and sweet little guy. Because Brownie has been with us so long at the shelter he has come to see the adoption staff as his people. While very sweet and friendly Brownie has become weary of strangers and is not afraid to show it by establishing his boundaries with a bark or tough stance. This is a case where we need his potential adopters to understand a few key things, #1 being: He needs many meetings with his person to feel comfortable/establish trust. Because he is a loyal guy Brownie MUST go to a one-person home with limited human-chaos (such as frequent/many visitors) He does enjoy the company of other small dogs (with proper meet n greets/time to adjust) and doesn`t seem to mind cats. If you are serious about putting in the time and effort into this little guy, please reach out to the shelter to discuss further details with the adoption staff. 508-867-5525 or email at Adoption@secondchanceanimals.org

Story
Meet Ebony! Ebony is about 9 years old, 3 lbs, and she likely has some Chihuahua in her mix! In her foster home, she is working hard on her house-training, crate training and does well on leash. She could go to a home with submissive dogs and older children. No cats please! She ideally needs someone who is home most of the day. She is very barky and scared of men so no apartments please. Her foster says, `Ebony is a tiny, adorable dog. She may act a bit aggressive to new people, but she means no harm. She is just not sure if she is safe, and trying to protect herself. Given her size, who can blame her! Once she knows she can trust you, it is a breeze - she will let you cut nails, brush teeth, give a bath - and of course cuddles all day long if you let her. She does not require a lot of activities, rather enjoys a quiet house with her favorite people. She is small enough to put in your pocketbook and carry with you everywhere - and she would love that. She can be your only or live with dog siblings.`She is available for adoption in Hopkinton by appointment. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com

Story
Meet Georgia! Georgia is about 2 years old, 15 lbs currently, and she likely has some chihuahua in her mix! She was found as a stray and was HW positive. She has been treated and is now ready for adoption! In her foster home, she is working on her house-training, crate training, and leash walking. She could go to a home with kids 10+ and cats. She resource guards so could be an only dog or be adopted into a home with other dogs with an experienced owner. Her foster says, `Georgia may have had a rough start to her short life, but you would never know it now. She has blossomed into a sweet, loving, fun girl. She has such a zest for life too. She joins doggy daycare every day, but it is more so she can be with her human than with the pups. She does run and play a little, and even will wrestle on occasion. She would be perfectly happy as an only dog too, so no worries there. She can keep herself busy with toys quite nicely, but would much rather snuggle up with her human and watch a movie.`She is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on January 31st.
