Story
We know how she got her name "Sweet Potato".  She is the sweetest little girl and just loves people.  Sweet Potato is 8 & 1/2 years young and would love nothing more than to spend the rest of her life on someone's lap to cuddle with.  She hasn't been with us long at the shelter but she may want to be the only dog so she doesn't have to share the attention.  She also walks great on leash, so in between laps and cuddles you can take her for a walk.  Come on out and meet our little Sweet Potato. The adoption fee is $200 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.  Applications are typically worked in time stamp order based on date/time of submission.  If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee.  It may save you a trip to bring them with you when you visit, if you are certain you want to adopt a new family member. *****We are currently operating by appointment only due to a shortage of personnel.   If you want to meet this pet, or are interested in adopting, please submit an inquiry or email to tchspapillion@gmail.com.  Someone from the rescue will contact you and/or your family and determine, on a broad level, whether you might be a fit for the animal.  If so, they will provide instructions for completing the application. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted to set up a time to meet at the shelter or the foster home.   The introduction between you and the pet will be supervised by one of the dog counselors or the foster.   If all goes well, you can adopt during the same visit. Please be sure to follow us on Facebook to learn more about Town and Country Humane Society and our mission. ##2094965##

Story
Have you ever had an underbite melt your heart? If not... meet Scooby! This little fella's a Chihuahua mix, approximately 3 years old, and 15 lbs of pure love. He's a sweet boy who would love a calm, laid-back home and a lap to rest his head on. Scooby joined us in rescue when city fireworks were in full swing so he's still settling in and adjusting to his new surroundings. Despite all the commotion, Scooby seems to really enjoy his daily walks and has been showing off his 5-star leash manners; however, little guy is still pretty shy and not quite ready for the neighborhood cookout. Scooby has lived in multiple homes with multiple dogs his size so he's down with canine siblings, but he prefers company of the calm, small, adult variety so no big boys or puppy play, please! Scooby's doing excellent with his potty manners but still finding his routine... until then he's wrapped up in his cute little belly bands and wears 'em like a champ. Right now, Scooby is very much comforted by the presence of his favorite people so we think an adopter that enjoys being at home vs. out on the town or someone who has a work-from-home situation would be ideal. We're still in the early days of getting to know this handsome little guy so we'll continue to post updates as we learn more about Scooby and his furever needs! The suggested adoption fee for Scooby is $365.  Bullies-N-Beyond is a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Adoption donation fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. All dogs adopted through BNBR will have been administered their age appropriate vaccines which may include DHPP, Rabies, Lepto and Bordetella. All dogs will also be adopted out as already altered if of age, for those not of age, a voucher will be provided. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. BNBR does not adopt on a first serve basis. All available dogs are adopted based on their needs to provide the best fit home. ##2096454##

Story
Ryder is a 1 1/2 year old very cute Chihauhau/minature pincher. He lived in a foster home prior to coming to us to find his furever home.  His foster mom said he is dog and kid friendly, housebroken, loves car rides and walks good on leash. He sure doesn't like the shelter environment since he was use to being in a home.  Do you think Ryder is the right fit for your family so he can get back into his comfortable surroundings.  Come on out and meet him. ##2088317##
