Story
Macey is a beauty and a head turner with that defines the word fluffy dog. This 5 year old, 70 pound glamour girl is a Collie/Shepherd mix. She wa previously living with her humans on a farm and it was the most perfect life. A serene life where she lived on a farm nestled in the mountains of East Tennessee that offered her days of running in grassy fields, making friends with a few horses and having no cares in the world.  Macey’s human Dad passed away suddenly, and her human Mamma  is not in good health.  Her Mamma cried when she surrendered Macey to our rescue, but we promised to find that perfect lifestyle and serene setting again. This girl is very calm and gentle with an air of lady like  elegance.  Macey hasn’t had much experience on a leash, as she was used to the freedom of farm life, but she is a quick learner and aims to please.  Macey is housebroken,  UTD on all vaccinations, spayed, HW negative and microchipped.  If you are interested in this sweet girl, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.August 19, 2024, 8:06 am

Story
Hi there! I'm Frodo, and I'm on a quest to find my forever home. You see, I've been back at the shelter a few times, but it's never been my fault-I'm just waiting for the right family to come along. If you're an adventure-loving human who has time to share, we might just be a perfect match! I'm not a fan of being left alone, so I'm looking for someone who'll be there to share the fun with me. I absolutely love going on walks and running around, and playing chase is my absolute favorite! I promise, once we bond, I'll be your loyal sidekick, always eager to be by your side. I can get along with other dogs, but I'm not too fond of cats-so no felines in my new home, please. I might take a little while to warm up to you, but give me some patience and I'll show you my full, lovable personality. I'd do best in a home without tiny toddlers or babies, as I might need a bit of space while I get used to my new surroundings. So, if you're ready for a loyal companion who's eager to explore and share adventures, I'm your guy! Let's start our journey together-I promise, it will be worth it. Story
Bear is exceptional. He is calm, quiet, so gentle and very affectionate. He is about 2 to 4 years old and 65 lbs of fluff and love. He is great in any situation with dogs and people and kids. We can cat test. Bear is good on leash and all in all, an incredible family dog. And not to mention, SO handsome. This boy is a must meet, for he will steal your heart for sure. Truly an awesome dog...  LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility. We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions! We pride ourselves on being an HOLISTIC center and feed only holistic foods and various vitamins and supplements to all of our dogs. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER dogs are well socialized, very friendly, and in wonderful health.  We stand by our pups/dogs, and give 10 days for a refund and almost always take our dogs back at any age of their lives (often depends on dog)! LMAC has an application screening process.  All applicants are asked to provide vet references, personal references, and a home visit.  We pride ourselves in matching up the right dog with the right home. Sometimes this happens quickly and sometimes it might take awhile. We hope you understand and are willing to wait for the perfect pup for your situation. We reserve the right to turn applicants down and to change our mind about a suitable match, for we are only concerned about what is best for our dogs.  Also note that we arrange our visiting hours around your schedule, as this is a private, in home facility.  We respond to all inquiries promptly, so if you have any trouble sending us an email, or have not heard back from us within 24 hours, please, CONTACT US AGAIN and check your spam!  (We all know how emails can be at times!) Our dogs are spayed or neutered (if old enough), up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested, and free of fleas and ticks.  We temperament test our  dogs and they are all suitable for many family situations. Our dogs are well mannered, know some basic commands, and are usually housebroken within a week of being with us (if old enough).  They are in our family/home situation at this time (not in kennels or crates, although most are crate trained) and are worked with daily.  All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption donations vary with age, breed, vetting, and training of the dog, and range from $250 to $695 (most being $595).  (We do not tend to place puppies or small dogs with kids under 6 and reserve the right to match who WE feel would be the best homes for our dogs.)  August 18, 2024, 2:43 pm
