Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hello, my name is Finland. I’m a Collie/St. Bernard boy who is ready for my forever family. I am 3 months old and weighs around 15 pounds. I will be 60-70 pounds fully grown.    I’m working on house training, and basic obedience. I’m really smart, I already know the sit and down on command. I’m going to need additional assistance on house training, but with a good schedule I know I’ll master it in no time.  I sleep in my kennel with my brothers at night, I sleep all night without accidents.    I love playing. My favorite game right now is fetch. I can race a ball around for hours. I’m really patient. I have been around young kids who hold me daily and I let them handle me without much fuss. I’m looking for a family who will teach me many skills, take me on adventures, and love me unconditionally. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Oh my gosh! I’m Mimzi! I am the sweetest, kindest most wonderful 15lb, 6 month old Collie mix girl you’ll ever meet! I’ve got more of a terrier look to me, but trust me when I say I’m perfect! My foster mom tells me every day that I’m made up of all the best and happiest things in this world and I bring her so much joy! I could probably be a great Emotional Support Animal one day if you wanted to get me trained! Do you know what makes me happy? Being with you and I don’t even KNOW you! Being in your lap, and I’ve never even BEEN there! Having you pet me and you haven’t EVEN tried yet! My heart is just bursting with love and I’m ready to love YOU! Have you ever been in a crate? It’s great! I love it! I have this cozy dog bed that I curl up in and I don’t make a peep… I sleep through the night!  I haven’t had any accidents in my foster parent’s home so I’m thinking my track record is pretty great. Maybe you can teach me your routine and I can be a good girl for you too! I play… I love to play… but you are WAY better than play in my eyes! So we could just snuggle up and leave the world to it’s chao while we watch tv, movies, sports, you name it! I’m great with other dogs, I’m great with kids, I’m great with everyone. I’ve never met a cat but we could give it a try! We’ve all got a history… let me tell you mine. I was rescued off the streets as a stray from a burned down building with my sister and my brother! No joke, it was still in embers when they found me. So when it comes to gratitude, I’m a ninja warrior third degree black belt in appreciating that you even care to meet me and that I am alive! I like to think that this is why I have such a caring and compassionate nature and just want to show everyone how much I appreciate my sweet little life! I’m scruffy and I’ll bring you the greatest joy of your life, please apply to meet me here: https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplicationVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 20, 2024, 12:26 am

Story
Hi, I am Shinzo: an 9.5 yr old, 70 lb male McNab mix. The first word that comes to mind when you see me is regal, being poised in my stature, walk and behavior, but you might catch me playfully hopping with my dog buddies. When we first meet I need a moment to stand back to check you out just to determine if you're friend or foe, but don't worry...I'm a love bug after I've made my decision and see that you are worthy. I get along great with the dogs in my foster house, and I am great with kids. (Sorry, I don't like cats though.) I prefer not to bark (even when others are) as I am too well-mannered, but I have a wonderful deep bark if needed. I already know how to use a doggy door and am completely trained to do my business outside. Unlike some of my herding friends, I'm not hyperactive. I do need room and time to exercise (wait till you see how good I am on a leash!) but I also enjoy a nice nap at your side. I might nudge you with my nose if I feel you're ignoring me, but you'll think it's super cute. Don't fret, this regal boy doesn't require a throne...just a home and family where I can show you what a perfect dog I am to love and to love you.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $100. Story
Frankie is a 10 month old dog, and is a shepherd and cattle dog mix of some sort. Frankie came to us as a medical rescue off a reservation, with horrible lacerations on one leg. He has now healed up beautifully and is hoping to find his forever home! Since he was a feral dog, he is very timid and lots of things scare him easily. While he is comfortable and does extremely well in his foster home, he will need a family that can be patient helping him learn basic commands, how to walk on a leash, and how to ride in a car. Frankie is one of the sweetest dogs, and loves to cuddle and follow his people around his house. He loves to play with toys, chew on bones, and lounge in a soft doggy bed or on the couch. He does happy dances at meal times, and loves butt scratches. He is house and crate trained. Frankie will ABSOLUTELY need to have a fenced in yard and another dog in the home that he can play with that will help him gain confidence in his new home. Frankie's adoption fee is $200 and he is fully vetted- fixed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and health checked. To be considered, please apply online at caws.org. Thanks! Story
Meet Oso, a 2-year-old mix with a complex genetic heritage including (per Embark DNA test) Australian Cattle, German Shepherd, Border Collie, American Pit Bull Terrier, Chow Chow, McNab, and Australian Shepherd. He's a charmer with an adorable underbite and a heart of gold. Oso gets along well with other dogs once introduced properly and is a cuddle enthusiast. Oso does carry emotional scars from his past, particularly regarding his interactions with men. Initial introductions require patience and gentleness to help him overcome his fear and build trust. Furthermore, Oso exhibits guarding tendencies around toys and treats. He has never bitten but he vocalizes his discomfort through barks and lunges. With consistent training and positive reinforcement, Oso is learning to share and coexist peacefully with his furry companions. His unique blend of breeds contributes to his intelligence and adaptability, making him a versatile & engaging companion.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-served basis.
