Story
🐾 **Meet Buddy!** 🐾 Hello there, future family! My name is Buddy, and I'm a spirited 3-year-old Rough Collie with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging! 🌟 My fluffy coat and soulful eyes are just a glimpse of the joy I bring. I'm on the lookout for a new home where I can share all my love, loyalty, and a bit of my playful mischief. At first glance, I might come across as a bit shy, but don’t let that fool you! 🥰 Give me a little time to get to know you, and soon enough, we'll be inseparable. I thrive on gentle affection, and once I’m comfortable, I'm the life of the party! ### **A Little About Me:** - **Age:** 3 Years Young - **Breed:** Rough Collie - **Gender:** Male - **Personality:** I'm a bundle of fun and excitement, with just a touch of initial shyness. But give me a moment, and I'll shower you with affection and playful antics. - **Likes:** Long walks in nature, puzzle toys that challenge my clever mind, and cuddle sessions on the couch. I’m also a fan of learning new tricks—it's a great way for us to bond! ### **Looking For:** A loving home that understands the heart of a slightly reserved pup at first meeting. I dream of a family or companion who cherishes the great outdoors as much as cozy time indoors. I get along great with kids and other pets, especially if they match my gentle, playful spirit. 🐕‍🦺👧 ### **Why I'm Looking for a New Home:** Life is an adventure, and sometimes it leads us down unexpected paths. 🌍 I'm searching for a new home that's eager to embrace all the love and joy I have to give. I promise to fill your days with laughter, loyalty, and lots of memorable moments. ### **A Perfect Day for Me Includes:** - A morning stroll, where I can sniff and explore. - Some brain games to keep my mind sharp. - Plenty of cuddles and belly rubs. - An evening by your side, whether we're watching TV or gazing at the stars. If you're looking for a loyal friend who's ready to embark on endless adventures and is equally content with quiet nights in, then I'm your guy. 🐶💕 Let's create a forever bond and a lifetime of memories. Buddy is currently being fostered in Moyock, NC. Interested in making me part of your family? Please visit www.coastalsheltierescue.org for applications online or message the page privately with any additional questions. A dog friend in the home would be ideal for me!

Story
Meet Piper! a gorgeous 2.5-year-old, tri-colored farm collie weighing around 45 pounds. She’s a fun-loving, sweet-natured companion who adores people, gets along well with dogs her size or larger, and loves children. While Piper is brimming with energy and curiosity, her prey drive means she isn’t suited for homes with small dogs, cats, or farm animals. This adventurous girl is happiest exploring on-leash, as she has an impressive ability to clear 6-foot privacy fences and climb chain link of any height. A dog park or unattended yard isn’t the right fit for Piper—she’s a leash-only dog outside, but her curious nature makes every walk a joyful outing. Piper is wonderful in the house, where she’s responsive, well-mannered, and eager to be by your side. She’s perfect for an active family or individual looking for a companion to share outdoor adventures without relying on a fenced-in yard. While she’d thrive in a rural setting with some space to explore, her ideal home is one that understands her need for safety and supervision. If you’re seeking a loyal, intelligent, and lively dog to join you on life’s adventures, Piper might be the perfect match! Her foster is in Virginia Beach Her adoption fee is $250 * we are looking for a homeowner fenced is not required sorry no apartments or renters she is not a dog park dog. Story
Where are my sweet mama dog lovers??!! Margarita (aka Maria) traveled to Virginia Beach in July of 2022. She settled in nicely with her adopted mom and was described as a super sweet, snuggle bug. Unfortunately, she is not a fan of her new human sister(who is now a toddler) with another on the way. She is approximately 5 years old and 33 pounds. She has been at a board and train with our trainer for the last 3 weeks, gaining some confidence and social skills. She is still a bit reactive to some dogs and would prefer to be an only dog and soak up all of the attention! She’s housebroken and crate trained. An ideal adopter would be committed to maintaining structure and using positive reinforcement with Maria. She would greatly benefit from a predictable and supportive environment. Maria has a lot of love to give her person. Complete one of our online adoption applications today! Story
Meet Bleu! Bleu is a very sweet and wild girl who takes some time getting use to you, but once she does she will be your built in bestie. Bleu loves to play with her canine roommate but will ask to meet any canines currently residing in the home. Bleu does have some stranger danger and may take a couple visits to warm up to you as it took her some time to get warmed up to us here in the kennel, and we will ask that everyone living in the household come in to visit prior to her going home. Bleu also asks any children in the home be 6 and older as she will need some time to acclimate in the home small children may not be the best thing for her. Lasty, her adoption fee has been partially covered, so only $250 remains! If you would like to meet this lovey lady, please speak to a kennel technician today.

Story
Meet Augusto! This lanky guy came to us from a local shelter, and we don`t have any history on him other than that he was picked up as a stray. Augusto isn`t letting his past hold him back though, he`s as happy as can be and ready for his new home! Augusto very much still acts like a puppy, so he will need help with things like manners and potty training. Augusto can be pretty wild and excitable, so we definitely recommend that he go to a very active home! He`s also quite the jumper and can be pretty rough, so we will require any kids in the home are at least 10 years or older. We aren`t sure how he does with other dogs, so if you already have a dog in the home, they will need to meet Augusto prior to adoption. If you`re interested in taking this lovable wild child home, please ask a kennel technician for assistance!
