Meet Mr. Rex, the adorable pup who's a perfect mix of Dachshund and Labrador retriever and only around a year old! Poor Rex had a rough start finding himself without a home, but things took a turn when he found a family, only to end up back at the shelter 30 days later because he tested positive for heartworms. Luckily, his tale has a happy twist as he's now getting the medical care he needs. Currently, he's at the Arkansas Paws in Prison Program learning basic commands and mastering his best manners.
