Story
Meet the cutest pup in town, Tsunade! Tsunade is a shy timid gal who takes time to warm up and prefers doing so on her own terms. She absolutely adores treats, and that certainly helps in making friends! Once she comes out of her shell, this gal loves running in the yard or getting the energy out with a walk. She also enjoys adding a toy to the mix from time to time and running with that too! Tsunade would do best with teens+ as fast sudden movements seem to spook her. We don't have any history of Tsunade with other pets, but we think cats and dogs of similar size and energy may be okay. If you are interested in applying for Tsunade, please fill out an adoption application! The application can be found on our website: https://www.rispca.org/adoptable-dogs

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Sadie – The Sweetest Sidekick You’ll Ever Meet Sadie may be the twin of her brother Sterling in looks, but she brings her own gentle magic to the mix. With her soft smile and go-with-the-flow nature, Sadie is the kind of pup who quietly wins your heart. She was rescued alongside her six siblings after being abandoned in a trailer park, and she’s been blossoming more every day. She’s not one to take the lead, but she’s a loyal little follower who loves being part of the pack—whether that pack includes people, dogs, or both. Sadie’s easygoing spirit makes her a great companion for just about any home. She doesn’t demand attention but happily soaks it in, always ready to tag along with whatever you’re doing. Sadie is joy in puppy form—gentle, loving, and always smiling. If you’re looking for a mellow best friend who will walk beside you with trust and warmth, Sadie is your girl. Sammy, Sadie, Sandy, Sylvie, Solo, Sonny and Sterling.  ~ How Can They All Be Siblings? Believe it or not, it’s totally possible! A female dog can be bred by more than one male during her heat cycle, meaning a single litter can have multiple fathers. That’s why this adorable group of siblings looks so different—some with long coats, some short, some with dachshund legs, and others with terrier scruff or shepherd markings. Based on their appearance, this litter could have a mix of Dachshund, Boston Terrier, Pug, Miniature Australian Shepherd, Vizsla, Cairn Terrier… and who knows what else! One thing’s for sure—they’re all 100% sweet, 100% unique, and ready for forever homes.         Thank you for checking out our wonderful orphans. Adoption Donation   $   499            Located:    MS     (Transportation costs included to the Northeast , plz ask for more details )    Age: approx   4-5   years old     Weight: 25  lbs Sista is ready for her new home! She finished weaning her babies and now her puppies & her are ready to start a better journey!  If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application on our website  www.fohari.org  and email my foster parent for more information:  friendsoha@yahoo.com Please verify the location and readiness of this dog with us.  Because we save lives from various locations through out the United States, some dogs may not be in New England yet, nor ready for immediate adoption.   Our adoption application can be found here: https://fohari.org/application/  Our Adoption Process:   Go to our website and select the animal you are interested in. ALL animals are in foster homes as we do NOT have a  shelter where you can visit. Some animals are in foster care in New England, and some are located in other states. If the initials following the animals name are a state, then that is the state where the animal is located. If initials are not a state, then those are the initials of the foster home outside of New England and you will not be able to meet the animal ahead of time. Complete our online application You will be contacted by phone or email by the foster parent  or a member of our adoption team and will have the opportunity to find out more about the animal, and ask any questions that you have to ensure the animal is a good fit for your household. If the animal is local, you can meet the animal, but you would not be able to take the dog home until you are approved to adopt.  From our end, we will check references and schedule a home visit.  If you live in an apartment, or a condo, we will need to verify permission to own the animal from your landlord or condo board. Please let your vet’s office and references know we will be contacting them. If your  references are positive, we will schedule a home visit by a volunteer. Please try to accommodate the home visit volunteer as most  have busy schedules. Delays in the visit will result in a delay in the adoption. Once you are approved, you will receive an e-mail with your  adoption contract attached. This e-mail will have details about pick up, the balance of the adoption fee that is owed, etc. Please email your signed & witnessed contract and pay your adoption fee in full, and for any animals located out of state, you will be contacted for details about transport to New England. Once you have paid your adoption fee in full and sent back your contract, you can make arrangement to pick up your animal from the foster home or from transport depending on where the animal is located. Please bring a harness, collar, ID tag and leash when you are picking up the dog unless otherwise instructed by the foster parent. Our extensive approval process is intended to ensure the best fit between our animals and adopters. Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA) reserves the right to deny any adoption application with or without disclosure of cause. Your adoption fee helps to cover the cost of all age appropriate vetting and transportation. FOHARI.ORG makes no explicit or implicit guarantees in reference to the health, temperament and/or the breed of the animal. The animal is adopted ‘as is’, and the adopter assumes all responsibility for treatment of any and all existing conditions or any other conditions of physical or temperament changes that may occur. FOHARI.ORG will provide the animal with the basic vaccines, heart worm test and sterilization of dogs and cats before adoption if the age and current health of the animal permits. Story
Meet Traveler! Traveler is about 5 years old, 12 lbs, and he likely has some dachshund in his mix! Traveler was confiscated from a hoarding situation. In his foster home, he is working hard on his house-training, crate training and leash walking. He could go to a home with kids 10+, and other small dogs. He has not been exposed to cats.He is pretty nervous on walks and can bark a lot at outside noises so no apartments, please! His foster says, `Meet Traveler! This sweet, quirky boy has a heart as big as his personality. Rescued from a tough situation where he was left outside in freezing weather, Traveler is now looking for a home where he can truly be loved and pampered. Traveler is a playful, silly soul who loves his toys and enjoys lounging with his favorite humans (though he’s not a fan of kisses). He adores dogs his size and would thrive in a home with at least one canine companion. Traveler is crate trained, mostly housebroken, and well-behaved with older kids. His playful barking is his way of keeping you aware of any visitors or nearby dogs, but it’s just part of his endearing nature.`He is available for adoption in Worcester, MA by appointment with an approved adopter. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com
