Daisy and Donut are 2 yrs old. The perfect age as they are all grown out of the puppy stages. They are both housebroken and just the sweetest lovable dogs. They are current on all vaccinations and preventatives and have been spayed and neutered. Daisy is a little more high energy but not excessive. She is wonderful especially if she has a chewy bone or toy. Not destructive, she just likes something to chew on. Donut is lower energy but still loves to chase a ball and play with his sibling. They both know sit and will shake when asked as well. Leash and kennel trained and will sleep in their kennel 8-9 hours with no problems. They are great dogs and their family does not want to give them up but they have had a coupled unexpected deaths in the family and unforeseen circumstances that make it unfair for these two as far as time and space. Their current family would love for them to go together and the adoption fees can be adjusted accordingly if we can find a spot together for them both. We will consider single applications if we can’t find a home together. Once adopted Daisy and Donut will will travel via private transport (transport cost is $165.00) to a location closest to you. Lady Bug-Dachshund/Chihuahua female, ~ 1-2 yr. (Feb. 2024) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for application. Lady Bug came to Rescue when her owner abandoned her in a rural mountain area. She was very pregnant and in poor health. Rescue took her in, helped her through the pregnancy and back to good health. The puppies all have their homes and now it's momma's turn to have her new forever family. She's living in a foster home waiting for her forever family to find her. There are other dogs in the foster home and Lady Bug gets along best with the large dogs, but they feel she'd really be happiest as a single dog. She will enjoy an active lifestyle, a great hiking or walking partner. Bred to be loyal and kind. Lady Bug's weight is about 25# and she is full grown. The adoption fee is $350, to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. Gets along with all our other dogs and loves to play with them no matter what size. She is not timid or shy. She will announce strangers but warms up to them quickly. We are working on house training. She rides well in the car and is okay on the leash. She’s learning new things every day. She came to us from a good Samaritan who found her trying to save her puppies from a neighborhood un-neutered male Husky that was trying to kill the pups. Four pups of the 8 were saved along with her. She will make a great dog for a couple or single person. I would only put her around children that are older and know how to treat a small-breed dog.
