This sweet boy is “Bagel”. He is Mr. Personality. He tries to keep an eye out for his siblings and is such a sweetheart. He loves to give kisses and will roll over for belly rubs! He is about 49lbs and just turned 1 year old. He is fully potty trained and likes to watch TV. A fenced-in yard is preferred for playtime. He is already neutered, current on vaccinations, dewormed and negative fecal, on monthly prevention, and microchipped. Bagel also loves kittens. Story
Update on Luddy: FOSTER NEEDED ‼️ Luddy weighs around 77 pounds and weighed only 40lbs when coming to the rescue when he was rescued off the chain. He is doing fantastic with being an indoor doggie. He has learned to go potty outside and not inside, he sleeps really well in his crate or occasionally in the bed or couch with his previous foster. He walks really well on the leash now too and loves to go on adventures, explore, and hiking trips! He pulls slightly but is learning and doing very well! Luddy needs a new foster as soon as possible. If you can foster, Southern Paws Animal Rescue will supply everything Luddy needs. It won’t cost you a dime! Just give him a safe place to stay while he waits for his forever family to find him. He is going through heartworm treatment and has about 6 weeks left, so he will need to stay inside the home except for leashed potty walks, because the heat will make him feel bad. Due to limited number of fosters, Luddy is being fostered with several other foster dogs and we are looking to spread these fosters out to more foster homes where they can get more individualized attention. Cats are a little too interesting to Luddy, so a home without cats would be best for him. Luddy would do well in a home without pets or a home with large female dogs. If you can foster this precious boy, or would like to give him a forever home, please call/text 205-239-1415 or email southernpawsanimalrescue@gmail.com Luddy is an available through Southern Paws Animal Rescue, Alabama in Northport.

Story
Hi I am Muffin. I am 11 months old and about 49 pounds. My foster mom does not think I will get much bigger. I am an all around sweetheart. I love to run and play with my siblings and play with the soccer ball, especially with my brother Bagel. I am potty/crate trained and I am so smart I have already learned how to sit months ago! I love treats! (Pieces of my food). I also walk very well on leash and will stay right beside you. I am a very well mannered girl when I go to the vet and riding in the car. I am the perfect passenger in the car. My foster mom hands her hands full with five fosters including myself and I really need more attention and a home of my very own. My birthday is estimated to be April 6, 2023. I am very food motivated! I am very well-behaved at the vet too! I prefer a fenced yard for outside playtime. I get along kittens, cats, dogs, and other puppies. Also, I have been spayed, dewormed (negative fecal), up to date on vaccinations and monthly prevention, and microchipped! If you are interested in adding me as a new member of your family please call/text 205-540-3314 or email spar.crissi@gmail.com for an application!

Story
Meet Fable! She is around 9 months old. Her birthday is April 20, 2023. She is potty trained. She has had 1 DAPP vaccination, 2 DHLPP vaccinations, a rabies vaccination, dewormer, spayed, and microchipped. She is on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. We estimate Fable to be a large sized dog full grown. It is unknown at this time how she is around cats, because she has never been around them, but being a puppy would probably be okay with proper introductions. The mother was a full blooded German Shepard and their vet suspects they have some Great Dane in them. Story
We got Kratos from a shelter as a puppy in November 2019, when he was 3 months old. He has been on many adventures with us and has been quite a good companion for some time. Unfortunately, due to changes in jobs and other factors, we haven’t had to time to keep up his training and don’t take him out as often. We have several cats who he has gotten along with since her was a puppy, but now he doesn’t like them very much. We are also moving to a place where we cannot bring him. We love him so much and wish we could continue our journey, but we want to find him a home for which he will be loved and cared for.
