Story
Lady's birthday is estimated to be 11/19/23, she was a stray found as a puppy by a friend. She has been fixed, up to date on her shots and is on a heartworm preventative, she is crate trained, house broken, and knows a few tricks. She loves to play with my dog because they are similar in age and both have a lot of energy. However, she is territorial towards other dogs and usually barks and wants to establish dominance. She could be introduced into a house with other big dogs but there would probably need to be a period of time before they get used to one another. She is familiar with cats since I have two and seems to want to play with them but since she is so big and strong, they do not feel the same. However, I am working with her to break both of these behavioral issues. With that being said, I think she would be great with a male owner or a very strong female. She is heavy, very strong, smart, and would make a great security system.

Story
This sweet boy is “Bagel”. He is Mr. Personality. He loves to give kisses and will roll over for belly rubs! He is about 49lbs and is a little over 1 1/2 years old. Bagel LOVES playing tennis and needs someone who will throw the tennis ball with him. He is fully potty trained and likes to watch TV. Bagel loves to give his foster mom hugs and for that reason we are looking for an adopter without very small children. We do not know if he might accidentally knock down a small child trying to give loves as he is not around small children at his foster home. A fenced-in yard is required to adopt Bagel. He is already neutered, current on vaccinations, dewormed and negative fecal, on monthly prevention, and microchipped. We prefer adopter without other dogs at this time. If you are interested in adopting Bagel please reach out to 205-540-3314, or email spar.crissi@gmail.com

Story
!!! URGENT !!! Need indoor foster or approved indoor adopter asap because we have none available. Meet Fletcher! His birthday is April 20, 2023. Due to lack of foster homes, he is being fostered outside and will need a little help with learning how to be an indoor doggie, but should adjust well as he is a very smart boy. He has had 1 DAPP vaccination, 2 DHLPP vaccinations, a rabies vaccination, dewormer, neutered, and microchipped. He is on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. All of Fletcher’s siblings have found their forever home and he would love to have his own person/people too! It is unknown at this time how he is around cats, because he has never been around them. The mother was a full blooded German Shepard and their vet suspects they have some Great Dane in them. If you interested in adopting and/or fostering please text/call 2052391415 or email southernpawsanimalrescue@gmail.com

Story
Meet Delilah! Delilah loves wagging her tail. She is a happy little girl. She would be best in a home with dogs of approximate or smaller size than her. She is a little reserved when she is around dogs that are bigger in size than her. Delilah gets along just fine with cats. She came into rescue needing heartworm treatment, has been treated, cleared, and just had another negative heartworm test. She is on monthly prevention and just had her vaccinations updated as well. She will let you know when she is ready to eat (LOL) and is completely potted trained. She does not like spending much time outdoors as she likes to do her business and come almost straight back in. If you feel Delilah might be a good fit for your family please e-mail spar.crissi@gmail.com for an application or call/text 2055403314.

Story
Meet Brownie! He is a sweet boy that will cuddle with you on the couch! He is current on heartworm and flea/tick prevention, neutered, up to date on vaccinations, multiple dewormings. His mother was at minimum majority American Bulldog and we believe he might have had a different dad than his siblings. His siblings are definitely lab and his possibilities are hound/ beagle/ lab. He is a little smaller than his siblings. A fenced yard is required to adopt Brownie. His foster mom has been working with him on leash training and he has been doing great! He has been fully potty/crate trained. Brownie gets little spurts of energy and will run around with his siblings in the yard and loves for you to play with him too! Brownie is looking for someone who can give him a fair amount of attention. He would love to have a person with more time available than his foster mom. He adores cats, so his new home must have a kitty friend. If you think Brownie would make the perfect addition to your family please e-mail spar.crissi@gmail.com for an application! A veterinary reference is preferred to adopt a puppy and required for current/previous pets. We normally respond within 24-48 hours at the most. You may also text (205)540-3314 with serious inquiries.
