Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Chelsea, AL Meet Dorothy Mae! She is an 4 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 51 lbs. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on shots, but isn’t on heartworm prevention. Dorothy Mae is great with kids, cats, and dogs! She tested positive for heartworms and started the slow kill protocol. She is given heartgard for her heartworm. She was originally found running in a rural area and was never claimed. The current owner is surrendering her because they already have other dogs. She needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Dorothy Mae, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Dorothy Mae. Owner’s Contact Information: Alissa at aahill1011@gmail.com.

Story
This is Jinx! A 5 month old aussie puppy who came from a bad beginning and is ready for his fresh start. Jinx is a full australian shepherd…with a tail! And he definitely proves it. Jinx has a high toy and prey drive. He can be nippy and barky when playing chase with other dogs, but has gotten along well with all dogs. He does well with cats too, but will chase them if provoked. He has been introduced to children and gotten along with them, but because of his tendency to nip I would recommend a home with older children. He loves treats, but I would say he is medium food drive as he can get distracted and uninterested easily. He is crate and potty trained. Sleeps in his kennel at night with no problems. He is also used to riding in the car in a crate, but will sometimes wine/bark for the first few minutes in the car. He is very high energy and has a hard time settling outside the crate, but I think this could be worked on as he picks up on skills quickly. He loves to cuddle, but prefers his alone time in his kennel when he gets sleepy. He has shown a good disc drive and has been introduced to water, but was uninterested/did not want to swim. I think he would make a fun disc dog. He is a happy go lucky puppy who always has a smile on his face! If Jinx sounds perfect for you, please fill out the application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional REFUNDABLE $50 neuter deposit and a $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family. All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.

Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Tucson, AZ Meet Koda! She is an 11 month old Australian Shepherd and weighs 33 lbs. She is spayed and microchipped, but isn’t up to date on shots (except for rabies), or on heartworm prevention. Koda is good with older children and dogs! No younger children, due to her reactivity! She hasn't been tested around cats. She is crate-trained and housebroken. The owner is surrendering her because she snaps at their younger children. They also are unable to provide the training that she needs. Koda loves to cuddle, but can be skiddish. She urinates when meeting new people or because the younger children are playing and yelling. She needs to find a new home as soon as possible. If you think you can provide a great home for Koda, please contact the owner listed below. There is a rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Koda. Story
Dub is a super sweet very loyal boy, who has been through a lot in his short life. My other dog and Dub have gotten into a fight due to a power struggle far too many times now and I have had to make the hard choice to rehome for everyones safety. This has lead to some anxiety for Dub and he is on medication to help manage it. He has done well around other pets however, I think Dub would be best with a more submissive dog, a female dog or as a singlet after what he has gone through. This hurts my heart making this but both animals are stressed and on edge and I am too. Dub loves to snuggle (so lovable he even has a heart shaped nose!) excels at being a couch potato but also loves spending time outside. He is crate trained, house broken, and does great around kids and cats.

Story
My pet is a female and her pet_name is Trixie. She’s four years old. I’ve had her since she was six weeks. She has always been kept inside. She’s very obedient She’s great with kids adults and other animals. She’s a very sweet dog. I have never had an issue out of her attacking or biting anyone she enjoys, running around in the house or outside just being free. She can also be a bit lazy at times. she’s up-to-date on all of her shots, including rabies. I’m choosing to rehome her because I just don’t have the time for her with my schedule. I’m looking for a great home for her someone that would care for her and love on her.

MEET NOTORIOUS D.O.G.G.: The pictures, and even the video do not do him justice he is absolutely stunning! He absolutely adores people! He is good with other dogs, but he must have slow introductions. He’s good with kids we think just because of his energy it should be kids that are 10 to 12 and up, he is fully vetted, neutered has already had his Entropian surgery. He is 100% healthy his house train a nose, basic commands. Notorious is just the sweetest and most loving dog. He would like nothing better than to be by your side doing whatever it is that you’re doing. A nice fenced in backyard would be good because he loves to romp around but if somebody is a dog walker that’s great too! if you’re looking for an absolutely beautiful dog was very loving and loyal you found him!
