Story
Willow is a sweet, friendly and energetic girl. She will thrive best with regular exercise and plenty of outdoor time! Willow loves meeting new people and seems to make friends easily. She appears to be potty trained, knows the cue `sit` and walks pretty good on a leash! Willow has not been reactive towards other dogs in the shelter and it is believed that she lived with dogs previously. Unfortunately, Willow was left in the night drop with no paperwork provided with her. Luckily, we can always accommodate a dog meet and greet if needed! Willow is a really great dog and is best suited for a more active family. She could be a great adventure buddy!Willow was adopted from the shelter and once again left in the night drop with no paperwork. We were able to confirm that she was an owner surrender and that she had lived with another dog. No issues were reported.

Story
Champ has been such a loving soul. He is so so sweet and is always happy to make new friends! Champ has a humble personality and tends to just go with the flow. Champ has met so many new people during his time in the shelter which is why we’re so surprised that he has not been adopted yet! Champ has been a part of a couple dog meet and greets and has done well. He may sound intimidating at first because he can be a talker when first meeting new dogs, but has remained friendly and respectful! We can provide a dog meet and greet prior to adopting to help find a good match. Champ has also met some children and did great each time, but it is unknown if he has lived with children before. Champ is a perfect gentleman and a people pleaser! He is potty trained and has not had an accident during his time in the shelter. He has also loved the use of a doggy door. We suspect that he may be crate trained as well due to his good behavior when in his kennel. Champ could benefit from continuing to learn more leash walking skills, but honestly does well. He just tends to let his nose guide him! Champ also knows the cues “sit”, “shake” and “down”. Champ typically has a chill personality and enjoys the simple things like going on walks. He will be happiest with regular exercise! Champ loves to be praised and cuddled. He may flinch when being approached too fast so we do ask adopters to take it slow with this big guy. Champ is the absolute best and he deserves to find a home that is as great as he is!If your home sounds like it would be a good fit for Champ we encourage you to come and meet him! We promise, you won’t regret it!

Story
Ace is about a year and a half. He is a loving and very playful boy. He knows most basic commands but does need further training on recall and reactivity. He has a ton of energy but will also get cuddly at times as well. We are needing to rehome him due to two large dogs being too much to handle currently as well as not having the space he needs for all his energy. Overall he is fairly well behaved and definitely has potential to become an excellent dog.

Story
Ruby arrived to the shelter as a stray and unfortunately was not claimed by her previous owners. Ruby is very friendly and has done great with meeting new people! She is very social and is always so wiggly when meeting someone new. It is unknown if Ruby has lived with other animals or children. Though she may jump up once in a while out of excitement, all around she is gentle and affectionate. We encourage adopters to bring their children with them when they come to meet her! Ruby has shown reactivity towards a couple other dogs - this is a more recent behavior and may be caused by stress. We can provide a dog meet and greet and do recommend one prior to adopting! She has done best around mellow and tolerable dogs. Ruby has medium energy and will be happiest with regular exercise. She loves going on walks! She has some great manners. Ruby is potty trained, walks well on a leash and knows the basic cues “sit” and “lay down”. We would not be surprised if she knew more cues! If your home sounds like it would be a good fit for Ruby we encourage you to come by and meet her!

Story
Klein arrived to the shelter as a stray and though we do not know his past we are looking forward to seeing his future! Klein is so very sweet. He may be shy when first meeting but warms up quickly. He loves love and yummy treats! Klein has not been reactive towards the other dogs in the shelter and usually gives them a little tail wag when seeing them. He seems fond of his neighbor Beck, but can be intimidated by rambunctious dogs. We can always provide a dog meet and greet if needed! Klein is looking for a gentle home that can provide him with all the care and love he needs. With that being said, Klein came in a little underweight and will need help to continue to gain weight. Klein would benefit from additional training and socializing, but he has been doing great! It is unknown if Klein has lived with children so please be sure to bring your children with you when you come to meet him! Klein is a very good boy. He appears to be mostly potty trained and knows the cue “sit”. Klein is working on his leash walking skills and gaining more confidence each day. We have already seen so much improvement! Come meet Klein if he sounds like the right fit for you!

Story
Pearl arrived to the shelter with her little dog family. She is very sweet and is desperate to be with her people. Unfortunately, we didn’ t learn much about Pearl before she arrived to the shelter. She has been friendly towards the other dogs in the shelter and is always happy to see her siblings. Pearl would enjoy having a nice dog to play with in her new home. A friend that matches her energy will be best! Pearl can be a rambunctious player with her siblings, but had been respectful to her recent adopters dog. We can provide a dog meet and greet prior to adopting to ensure that the pups will be a good match for each other! Pearl will need continued training. Though she is learning more and more everyday she will need a patient owner who is able to provide their time to continue training. Pearl is making great progress with walking on a leash and has enjoyed going out for Miles for Mutts! She is still working on her potty training, but does better in a home setting. She has learned the cue “sit” and ` down`. Everything is so new to Pearl and the rest of her crew. Pearl is a people pleaser and treat motivated. We imagine her doing great with a dedicated owner and a regular routine! Pearl has done well with handling and loves all the attention she can get. Pearl is active and will thrive best with regular exercise. Pearl has been stressed during her time in the shelter and may come off strong at first, but typically settles after sometime. We do believe that Pearl may be too much energy for some small children. Pearl is an anxious dog who may have separation anxiety - ultimately that is why she was returned to the shelter. Pearl deserves to find a home she will thrive in. She is so loving and just wants to be loved back! If your home sounds like a good fit for Pearl we would love for you to meet her.
