Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Leesburg, FL Meet Ripley! He is an 3 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs around 50 lbs. He is neutered and up to date on shots, but isn’t on heartworm prevention. Ripley is fearful of strangers! He is good with cats! He hasn’t been tested around younger children. No older children or dogs, due to his reactivity! He is housebroken and crate-trained. Ripley hasn’t had much socialization and is scared of everything. He will need his next home to be with a patient adopter who can help with his training. He resource guards his kennel and almost nipped strangers who visited his old home. His previous owner recently passed away. The current owner is surrending him because they are trying to find a new home for him. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Ripley, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Ripley. Owner’s Contact Information: Kelli at kelli.jarman3@gmail.com.

Story
Hi, I’m Kilua! I'm a super cute, friendly, and lovable 1 year old Husky bursting with energy and love. I adore being around humans and love to follow my foster mom everywhere like her little shadow. I’m a big fan of cuddles and will gently nudge your hand with my nose if I think it’s time for some head pats! Playtime is the best, especially when it involves wrestling and running with my foster brothers. I get so excited that I might play a bit rough, so I could be a little too much for small dogs. I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not sure how I’d do with them. I've been working hard on my manners. Leash training is new to me, and there’s just so much to explore outside! I’m also learning not to jump up on people when I’m excited—sometimes I forget because I just can’t contain my joy. Because of that, I might be a bit too enthusiastic for small children. I’m super smart. I am housetrained, and while my crate isn’t my favorite place, I’ve learned that it’s my safe spot for when my foster family has visitors or when they leave the house. It’s much easier when I have some company, whether it’s a human or another dog. Oh, did I hear a squeaker? Toys are my absolute favorite! Whether it’s lounging on the couch with a chew toy, playing tug-of-war with another dog or a human, or showing off my new fetch skills, I’m always ready for some fun. I’m just at the beginning of my journey and would love to find my forever family. Could that be you? I promise to bring lots of joy, love, and wagging tails into your life! Adoption fee is $325, which includes: *Microchip *Spay *Leash, collar, and HHOFL tag

Story
I'm Kira, a beautiful 1 year old Husky who's spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped. I've got an amazing superhero mask and stunning blue eyes, but it's my laid-back, easygoing personality that really stands out. I absolutely love people and have never met a stranger. I'm house trained! As for my crate...I will go in my crate if I must, but it isn't my favorite place to be. I adore my Husky sister and cat brothers; I sometimes play a bit rough, but I respond well to correction. Being outside is one of my favorite things, especially when there are mud puddles to splash in. I love walks, and my favorite speed is a slow jog. I even enjoy jogging beside a bicycle, but since I'm still young, I can only go short distances. As I grow, I'll definitely be your perfect biking buddy. Every day, my leash skills get better. I'm super food motivated and will do just about anything for treats. I already know commands like sit, front, paw, wait, and stay. We're working on down, longer distance stays, and come. I've got great house door boundaries, though I sometimes make quite an entrance when I come inside! Adoption fee is $325, which includes: *Microchip *Spay *Leash, collar, and HHOFL tag

Story
I'm Marley, a 5 year-old Husky who has come a long way from a life of neglect to one filled with love and care. I was once used solely for breeding, but now I know what it means to be a cherished family member. I’ve adjusted wonderfully to indoor living, and I love finding comfort in cozy spots, especially the bed where my humans are. My favorite activities include sunbathing, playing with plush toys, and enjoying short walks where I can indulge my senses in the world around me. I’m full of life and love. I may not be the best leash walker, but with a harness, I’m easy to manage, especially with my small frame. I’m very communicative and have my own unique sounds to express my needs and feelings. I have a playful side, especially when I’m engaged with my toys, but I also enjoy the calm and contentment of napping by my people’s side. My journey from hardship to happiness has made me a loyal and devoted companion. I thrive on human connection and crave love, acceptance, and praise. While I may have some protective tendencies, especially around other animals, my trust in people has grown, making me more open and loving every day. I’m eager to learn and motivated by treats, so training sessions are always fun and rewarding for both of us. I do well with male dogs but female dogs I can be a little too jealous. I’m more than just a pet; I’m a best friend waiting to bring joy, laughter, and companionship into the right home. Whether it’s a quiet day indoors or a new adventure, my heart is always with my family, ready to share in every moment. I am housebroken, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on my vaccines.

Story
Hi! I'm Simba! I'm an 11-year-old husky with plenty of life and love to give. Not the carefree lion you might know, but a cute and cuddly husky you definitely want to meet! And guess what? I'm available for adoption! Yes, you can bring home your very own Simba (or whatever name you choose for me - I'm not picky, I just want to be with you!). I'm great on a leash, not food aggressive, and best of all, I don't destroy things around the house like some others might. I'm the most laid-back and chill boy you'll ever meet. I just want to relax with my humans. I get along with all the other dogs and am a perfect gentleman. I'm housebroken, crate trained, up to date on my shots, microchipped, and neutered.

Story
Hi! I'm Smiley, an 11-month-old Siberian Husky with the brightest eyes you'll ever see. I’m still a pup at heart, but I’ve already learned a lot about life in a human home. I’m housebroken, and I’ll let you know when I need to go outside. If the great outdoors isn’t available, I’m smart enough to use a pad in a designated area. I’m even learning how to go on command—cool, right? I have a love-hate relationship with the crate—well, mostly hate. I’ll tolerate it, but it’s definitely not my favorite place to be! I’d much rather be out with my people or playing with my furry friends. Speaking of, I’m great with other dogs! I love to play and have learned how to be respectful, though I can be a bit too much for the smaller pups. I haven’t met any cats yet, but I love to chase little critters like lizards and birds. Bigger animals? I’m a little more respectful, but my inner hunter is always curious! When it comes to kids, I think they’re awesome! I get super excited and want to be their best friend, though sometimes I forget my size and might be a bit intense for the little ones. I’m working on being more gentle, but sometimes I still get carried away with mouthing—it’s just how I play! I’m learning to be better on a leash, though I’ll admit, I still pull when something interesting catches my eye (like a bird!). But I’m a quick learner and will sit for treats, meals, and even at the door. My "leave it" command is getting really strong too, which is super helpful when I get distracted. I’m also picking up directions like left, right, and wait—told you I’m smart! With my strong Husky personality, I’ll need a little extra guidance and reinforcement to reach my full potential. I’m eager to please, love to cuddle, and I’m incredibly affectionate. One of my favorite things to do is simply observe the world—you’ll often find me sitting or lying down, gazing into the horizon, taking it all in. And I’m always ready for the next adventure, whether it’s a walk, a car ride, or a trip to the park. I’m a big heart in a furry package, and I can’t wait to find a family who’ll love me as much as I’ll love them!
