Story
Scooby was found in a parking lot at 8 weeks old. His breed is unknown, but if I had to guess some sort of hound mix. We took scooby in and cared for him, but I am elderly and he has grown too large for our small home, and too strong for us to care for properly. He has lots of energy and a good temperament. Loves people. He is now about 10 months old, 70 pounds, and very healthy. He is great with my grandkids (maybe a little hyper), but has never been around cats so I am not sure how he would be with cats. It saddens me to let him go but it is the best for him. He loves the water and loves having his own hard sided kiddy pool. He loves playing with the hose blasting water. He loves walks but is still learning to get use to the leash.

Story
Bear is a great dog, I have had him for 8 years now. He is 10-11 years old. My girlfriend has a dog, who has lived with us for two years now. This last week he went after the dog and showed some aggressive behavior towards him. He has done this 3-4 times over a two year span. I am not sure what is causing this and feel like training at his age is not what I am wanting to do. He has NEVER shown any aggression towards people or kids, as I have nieces and nephews who love him and spend time with him. I feel he would be best with a house with no pets. He likes to go for walks and car rides. He is pretty chill and will not take a ton of energy to care for him. I will only let him go to a great home, I care a lot about this dog and its hurts to even think about him being with someone else, but it is for the best for him.

Story
Star is a gentle giant with a big heart. She’ll bring great joy and companionship to your home. We’ve enjoyed our time with her but unfortunatley where we are moving to where there isnt nearly enough space for her. She is accustomed to having a big yard to run around in and gets along great with other animals. Star is truly a great dog and will be a great addition to any family she joins.

Story
Daisy is around six years old and despite this she is as energetic as a puppy. We are hoping to find her a home thats able to keep up with her energy as we sadly aren’t able to. Additionally, we have many pets as it is and its getting too costly to care for all of them.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Resident since April 2018Hello, my name is Amora. I have been told how beautiful I am, and I cannot deny that it's the truth:)  I have been at PRBJ for over 6 years waiting for my forever home.  I know that is a really long time, more than half of my life. I am a great girl just ask anyone at the rescue center. I need time to get to know a person and trust them, but once I do, I will love you forever. I never forget those that love me.  I am a little older now and really would just like a home that I can relax with my human. I am good on the leash, but really don't like going too far...but maybe if I had a great person to walk me and keep me safe, I would enjoy walking.  I DO NOT like other animals (cats, dogs, birds, squirrels, etc), so my ideal home would need to pet free.... although I think I wouldn't mind a fish. I DO NOT like new people, so I would need a home that only has 1-2 ADULTS ONLY with very limited traffic in order to keep me and them safe. Please don't let any of this discourage you from wanting to adopt me. I know the right person is out there and the staff at the center is willing to work with us to ensure I get to the right home. It will take time for you to come in and meet me a few times, but I can guarantee I am worth it.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 2:38 pm
