Story
Meet Josie, the sweet and soulful black lab mix who is sure to win your heart! At 6 years old and 50 pounds of pure love, Josie is the ultimate sidekick, always by your side, following you from room to room, and soaking up all the affection you can give. She is one smart cookie too — she is already house trained, crate trained, and fluent in basic commands! While she’s a sensitive girl who will thrive in a calm, patient home, Josie’s goofy side is sure to keep you smiling! Whether she’s digging at her bed or hopping with delight at a sliding glass door, her hilarious quirks make her irresistible. She loves her walks but is equally happy lounging in sunny spots or snuggling up indoors. Josie adores every person she meets and does best with older kids who can appreciate her gentle nature. She’s ready to be the one and only in your life — no other pets needed, because she has plenty of love to give all on her own! This big-hearted pup is spayed, microchipped, up to date on all her vaccinations and preventatives and is seeking a foster, foster-to-adopt, or forever home in the Midwest or adoption in New England. Ready to welcome a loyal, loving, and silly companion into your life? Josie can’t wait to meet you! Apply today at www.luckylabrescue.com.

Story
Meet Macy, available for adoption in New England and The Midwest! Macy is a two-year-old black lab mix who is full of life. At around 65 lbs, Macy is the perfect blend of playful and chill. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives— ready to leap straight into your heart and home! Macy is a social butterfly who thrives in the company of other dogs and adores energetic playtime. We're not sure how she is with cats. When the fun winds down, she’s more than happy to settle in and relax with her favorite humans. While Macy is a fan of active adventures, she’d prefer a home without chickens or other farm animals — she is more of a city or suburban pup at heart! She’ll flourish with a family committed to her continued training, as she’s eager to learn and grow. Her enthusiasm and zest for life make her a great fit for a home with older kids who can match her energy. Macy’s ready to bring her big heart and bigger personality to a forever home that will love her for the star she is. Could Macy be your perfect match? Apply to adopt her today at www.luckylabrescue.com! 🐾

Story
Jane is a sweet senior dog. She is 10 years old. I rescued her from a puppy mill off of Facebook when she was 6 weeks old. Jane is scared of most men at first but with time and love she will warm up to anyone that just loves her. She loves to just lounge around and follow you around to make sure you are safe. She has some separation anxiety but will NOT tear up your home. She does bark excessively. We have tried to control it with bark collars and it does not seem to help. She mainly barks when people are coming home or leaving. She loves kids of all ages and sizes. Does very well with other dogs no matter the size. She has not been around cats, so I am not sure how she will do. She is still a very active senior dog. Not crate trained. Does well on a leash but will also just follow alongside you on walks, once she’s comfortable. She does dart out the door if given the chance but will come back. Overall this sweet baby deserves the best and it hurts my heart that she can’t stay with us
