Story
Ranger came with the house that I bought, the previous owner could not take him when he left. He's a high energy dog who loves cuddles and hugs, and picks up tricks well. He is treat motivated. Ranger is a good dog, however I am very allergic to dogs. He has long fur that sheds quite a bit, the last couple of years I've had to quarantine myself to a different floor so as to not have allergy attacks. He is house trained, but needs leash training as he is usually put out on a long leash to run around. He's only been around 1 other dog, a female, and they got along well though they had to be separated as neither was fixed. Cats seem safe around him but they don't typically like him much, he tends to stand a foot or two back and just bark at them. My cat does not like him but she stays upstairs, they often sniff each other through the door. I am hoping to find a good home with a fenced in yard, or an active lifestyle so that he is able to use up all his pent up energy.

Story
Sweet beautiful boy! 1 yr old (April 19, 2023), 65 lbs. Only one eye, lost it as a puppy - no special medical needs for this injury. He was a rescue we took in our home due to his eye but we have two other dogs and my oldest dog just refuses to accept him. We love him very much and are extremely attached so I would love for him to find a loving home. He is still a puppy so he has chewed up things in our absence, he willingly will go in cage. Definitely a people dog, loves to be with you and by your side. We don't have children in the home but we do have a 6 yr old granddaughter that he is very gentle with.

Story
Big things come in small packages!!Meet Shortcake. She's a 3 yr old, 45# English Bulldog/Pit mix. This little girl is a bit of spice and a whole lot of sugar. Shortcake wants nothing more than to be the center of attention. She revels in one on one time here at the shelter and makes it known if she feels she needs more.Shortcake is working on her leash manners and is making great strides. We believe Shortcake to be housebroken as she keeps a very clean kennel. This little dynamite loves walks, play time, and sunbathing. As she continues to thrive in her obedience training, she is still somewhat anxious at times. We think Shortcake would do best in a home that can continue helping her through he obedience journey and have a space for her to decompress when she is wants.Shortcake is looking for her people and would love to meet you!Come meet Shortcake today!

Story
Meet Kip! Otherwise known as Kippington or Kippy. He is a 6 year old mini golden doodle. My husband and I got him from a farm when he was 6 months old. He is house trained/car trained. Unfortunately, he has tried to bite our son on multiple occasions. He is impulsive and territorial. He has bitten my father in law and several of my husbands friends. Kip barks at everything and cannot stop licking you. He will also eat anything if possible. He once ate a full dog leash and a box of tampons. Now that doesnt sound appealing, but I swear, he can be the sweetest doggo in the world. He will not ever leave your side. He gives the best snuggles and somehow knows when you need him there. This is one of the hardest decisions Ive ever had to make, but my son comes first. Kip is all up to date on his shots and just recently got his rabies. He also just recently got groomed which is why his hair is shorter. PLEASE help us find a good, loving home for him.
