Story
Meet Kaylee! This sweet girl was brought to us with her 5 puppies, Brock, Bravo, Brax, Brigg, and Britt. Fill out an application to give this Rottweiler mix a furever home! To meet one of our adoptable pets or to start the adoption process, please access the adoption application on our website, www.crossroadsanimalrescue.org or download and email it to crossroadsanimalrescuesc@gmail.com. We will then approve you (sending in the application does not obligate you to adopt) and we can set up a time for you to meet one or more of our pets. You can then pay the adoption fee and officially adopt after meeting your new family member. Alternatively, you can do the adoption over the phone before meeting your new pet. The benefit to this is that we will hold the pet for you. However, the adoption fee is non-refundable if you changed your mind after adopting over the phone. Most of our pets are obtained from animal control and therefore we are not certain of their breed or breed mix. We list breed mixes that they most resemble or that their former owners said they were. However, we don't make any guarantees about breed - it is a best guess! Our adoption fees include the spay/neuter surgery, deworming, vet exam, and up to date vaccines. It also includes microchipping as well as heartworm testing or feline leukemia testing. We are happy to adopt out-of-state (and even out of the country!) but transportation for the adopted pet is the responsibility of the new pet owner. If you cannot adopt a pet at this time but would like to support our rescue, please click on the "Sponsor a Pet" button. Your donation will help feed the dogs, cats, small animals, and horses at CARE. Please email at crossroadsanimalrescuesc@gmail.com or call us at (864)972-9906 for more information. This phone number will reach Crossroads Animal Hospital, which is the home of CARE. During business hours, a receptionist will be able to speak with you regarding our adoptable pets. After business hours, the only way to contact CARE is via email. Our puppies and kittens are also eligible for 10% off the rest of the vaccines in their puppy/kitten vaccination series at Crossroads Animal Hospital. Most adult pets are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Puppies and kittens may have the surgery before adoption or we may have new owners return later for the surgery. For more information about CARE and to see our adoption application, go to our website, www.crossroadsanimalrescue.org

Story
My family adopted Tate in May of 2020. Our Vet in 5 Forks (Greenville, SC) had an employee that found him but already had 7 dogs and could not care for another. He had been living at the clinic until he met Nala, our other Pit who was 6 at the time. They were both the same size (smaller than most Pits) and got along very well, almost like they knew each other. We took him home for the weekend and have had him every since. He has traveled with us across the country on road trips and loves to go anywhere in the truck I go. He is gentle and sweet as he wants to be next to you as much as possible. He stays in doors but loves to run around in the yard as fast as he can or go on walks. He walks best by himself. He has had his teeth cleaned earlier this year and is up to date on all shots and monthly meds. We are not supposed to have Pits in our new neighborhood (HOA rules) and Nala is now 10 has health issues so she is not able to be rehomed, but he would be an awesome dog for you.
