Story
One-year-old Thunder is a pug mix with a winning smile and a bit of curl to his tail! This young and impressionable boy is eager for training and responds well to loving boundaries. He is housetrained and crate trained, and prefers a solo dining experience. Table for one, please! Although he is polite with other dogs when they are not around his food, he is not particularly playful with them and seems to prefer the company of adult humans; he may thrive in a home where he is the only dog. His ideal forever family will have time to devote to training and make plenty of time for snuggles. Thunder’s foster mom reports that he is at his best when given consistent love, attention, and training, and he is quickly proving to be a loyal, affectionate, and obedient little guy. If Thunder sounds like your perfect BFF, apply for him at dfwpugs.com!

Story
One-year-old Teddie is a high-energy boy who loves spending time and exercising in the great outdoors. Yard time is a must for Teddie, as he enjoys sunbathing, running around, patrolling the perimeter, and barking a friendly greeting to passersby. His other leisure interests include chasing and wrestling with other dogs, chewing on toys, and snuggling with his people. Teddie is a social guy who loves meeting new people and dogs, but prefers to dine solo. He is housetrained but is accustomed to wearing a belly band in his foster home and is fine with being crated as long as he has some company with him in the room. His ideal forever family will enjoy spending time outdoors and in the yard with him, give him plenty of affection, help him brush up on manners training that he may have missed out on in his previous life, and provide him with at least one friendly dog companion to indulge his social and playful side! If you’re looking for an outdoor adventure buddy, Teddie may be the perfect fit for you! Apply for him at dfwpugs.com.

Story
Eight-year-old Murphy is a handsome senior with an energetic side! He enjoys cuddling with his humans on the couch and watching TV, but also loves chasing other dogs and playing with toys. Murphy’s other favorite pastimes include going for walks, wolfing down his food, engaging in attempted food thievery from other dogs’ bowls, and snoozing in various locations throughout the house (including on human beds, under human beds, on the couch, and in the crate). Murphy is housetrained, crate trained, doggie door trained, and responds well to verbal corrections from his people. As a born explorer with a curious side, he is occasionally tempted to bolt out of the front door to see all of the happenings in the neighborhood; his ideal forever family will be prepared with bolting prevention tactics (which could include treats, as Murphy loves his food). If you’re looking for a senior who enjoys mellow moments and playtime in equal measure, Murphy could be the perfect companion for you! Apply for him at dfwpugs.com.

Story

This outgoing and affectionate duo have Velcro tendencies who love cuddling and spending time with people of all ages as well as other dogs. Mister is the more active of the two; he loves to go for walks, whereas Missus tends to enjoy the couch potato lifestyle. At night, they snooze next to each other in their playpen area. Because of their social nature, Mister and Missus would do best in a home with at least one human who is home frequently. Both take daily eye drops and joint supplements to feel their best.
