Story
Willow is a lovable PittMix that was given to me by a neighbor. I currently have a 4 year old female PittMix and they do not get along, displaying Alpha behavior. I also have a Bernese Mt Dog and she is perfectly fine with her. I am currently having to continuously separate the 2 dogs and keep them crated which I do not like. With my work/life schedule this is not practical for all involved, mostly the dogs being crated. She is truly a love bug around adults, my 1,3, and 6 year old grandchildren. She is social when we are out. She can be timid/anxious in new environments but warms up quickly. She has been boarded for our vacations with no problems . She is good with cats, she will play hide and seek with them but has never hurt or attempted to hurt a cat. I am desperate to find her a loving home that she deserves. The only option I’m finding in my area is euthanasia and I do not want to do that.

Story
Baby Girl has tons of energy and is ready for an active owner who can keep up with her. She would do wonderful with a fenced in yard where she can run carefree. She has some anxiety and needs an experienced owner that can help build her confidence and work through this. She would need to be the only animal in the home and we do not recommend young children because of her anxiety. She loves treats and has plenty of love to give her new family.

Story
This adorable guy has spent nearly half of his life at the shelter after being picked up as a stray and he is ready to break free. Barton can be timid at first around new people, but he has been working on his socialization skills and is making great progress. Several meet and greets will probably be required to fully earn his trust, but once you earn it he will love you forever. He walks very well on a leash and loves treats. He already knows some basic commands and with treats is willing to put in the work to learn more. Barton also loves children, he follows them around like a little babysitter. If you are looking for a great addition for your home make an appointment to come out and meet Barton.

Story
This handsome guy has been patiently waiting for his family. Brutus is a very smart dog and already knows many commands. He is a larger breed and would do best with an active family. Brutus loves kids and plays well them. Brutus sometimes forgets his size and strength when walking on a leash and would benefit from some leash training.Brutus is not a fan of small animals (cats, rabbits, etc.) so he will need a home/environment without them. He is also a jumper so his future family will need to be mindful of that. If you are looking to add another fun member to your family please contact the shelter to make an appoint to see Brutus.

Story
Toby has been with us at the shelter for two of the three years of his life. He's very timid and afraid of new people, so he will need someone that is willing to come visit him at the shelter and gain his trust. Once he trust you though, he is a very sweet boy. Toby loves to cuddle up to those that he trusts the most and loves to be made to feel safe. He also loves to go for walks and explore. He'd make a great hiking buddy! Toby is very treat-motivated and will sit for a treat and take it from you very gently! This handsome fellow would do best with an experienced dog owner.

Story
Hello there, I'm Kaine. I've been told I'm a bit of a senior, but don't let that fool you. I'm just as goofy and funny as any young pup. I can be a bit shy at first, but once I warm up to you, I'm all cuddles and loyalty. I have a soft spot for blankets, they make me feel safe and cozy. I'm also quite sociable with my fellow dogs and even cats. I promise, I'm a sweet, mellow companion who just wants a place to call home. If you're looking for a loyal, cuddly friend who will make you laugh, I'm your guy.
