Rain is 16 months old, fat, healthy, and friendly. Her mom is a DLH black and white cat that was found pregnant and abandoned at her rescuers friend's apartment complex. Rain was a house cat until she was about 6 months old and then put outside in the outdoor "cat compound," which is where the cats are kept safe from coyotes. It's a fence yard with a wire "ceiling."  Rain and her sister Snow were back inside about a month ago to get them acclimated again to being house cats.  Snow is afraid of people, so we haven't tried to get her adopted. Rain is not afraid of people, but she has a somewhat aloof personality.  She and her sister currently live in the large bathroom connected to their rescuers bedroom.  Every time she opens the door to go in the bathroom, Rain comes running out and runs all over the bedroom, having fun, and then she'll run back into the bathroom. It's a game to her.  She also likes to be scratched and petted and to throw herself on the floor and roll around. Rain is a great cat. Rain is being fostered in San Antonio, Texas, which is already humid enough, so she wants to bring some precipitation to the mountains! The first time was because my previous owner was moving into a memory care facility. I eventually found my new owner and thought things were going well, until one day I ended up here again. But, after several months I was lucky enough to find a loving foster home! Sadly, my fosters were unable to care for me long term so I am back at the shelter.
