Story
Porcupine is a beautiful black kitty with a long feathery tail. She has a friendly meow that comes out more like a squeak and when being pet, she makes a chirping noise that is quite endearing. She was previously feral, but is now friendly and affectionate. She startles at unfamiliar noises, but is doing well with common household noise. She is nervous about strangers, but once she gets to know you she loves pets and will nap in a lap occasionally. She is the most independent in the group and would likely be fine on her own, but she would also be fine with one of her sisters or another friendly cat.

Story
This handsome fella is Charli, he is about 6 years old(not sure, I adopted him in 2020 and they said he was 2). He’s super affectionate, vocal, and is good around other animals  - he’s lived with another cat and a small dog since I adopted him -  however, he would truly thrive as an only animal, as other animals can overwhelm him. He’s a super healthy boy and he’s had no health issues since I’ve adopted him.   He is microchipped. In a perfect world he’d end up with someone who wants a cat who will chat with them and love that he will want to spend his every moment right next to/on top of you.   I can provide a kennel, cat box, litter genie, a water fountain, food bowl, and his food and his medical records.   Charli is indoor only and lives in Dallas, OR with his owner.  Adoption fee is $50.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the owner for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.  Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 10, 2024, 9:08 pm

Story
Birch is a sweet, outgoing boy who loves being the center of attention. He enjoys chasing things around the room and then perching on a human lap once the play time is done. He has a habit of watching humans with his big green eyes, expecting treats. Birch is very food motivated. He enjoys most treats and food and has a bottomless stomach, gulping down big mouthfuls and still wanting more. He was very small and malnourished when we brought him home, which may explain this behavior. He can get a bit defensive of his food, so if you have other cats, it might be best to feed him separately. He is otherwise very feline friendly and has lived with other cats his entire life. He would also be fine as an only cat, as long as his humans are attentive. Birch has not had much exposure to dogs. Although he is bold and playful in environments where he is comfortable, he can be a bit cautious about new people and places. Once he gets to know you, though, he is a little love bug full of personality. A home that can devote plenty of time for playtime and has cat trees for him to climb would be his dream.  Birch lives in Sandy with his caregiver.  He is indoor only and his rehoming fee is $50.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM.
