Story
Joy 1 is a quiet and shy adult calico (Birthday 4/1/2018). This beautiful little girl is a real sweetie who loves to observe her foster family from her favorite perch on her cat tree. Joy 1 needs a quiet home with adopters who are willing to socialize Joy on her schedule. She will need time to get used to and feel safe in her new surroundings. Once comfortable, her sweet personality will shine. Patience pays off with Joy! She would do best in a quiet household with another mellow kitten or cat. She needs an experienced adopter with another cat in the home, who will understand that Joy will need to tell you when she's ready for affection. She will need to be crated initially and then gradually be given room to explore. She cannot go to a home with children or loud dogs. She doesn’t tolerate being picked up so she would require a creative approach to vet visits. One option is an in-home vet. Another is that you can work with your vet to schedule a sedated exam or use Gabapentin to relax them. Please note any previous experience socializing timid/shy cats on your application. NOTE: Please include details in your application regarding experience socializing extremely shy cats. This cat is currently in a foster home so if you would like to meet them please fill out an adoption application. They can be found at www.angelcathaven.com and can be filled out online, faxed to 617-488-2239 or emailed to cats@angelcathaven.com. **A special note: given the current social restrictions we are under due to COVID-19, the adoption process will be a longer one than usual to insure the health and safety of everyone involved.**

Story
**Please note: applications must be filled out via our website - www.angelcathaven.com - thank you for understanding.** Fawn 2 ( Birthdate 5/14/2018) is the sweetest shy cat you will ever meet. Although she is very conservative about asking for attention, she will never turn down a good petting session. In the time she has spent in her foster home she has shown she is a very loving cat. She is not one to scratch or bite but she will let you know if she's getting overwhelmed by giving a scared hiss. She is FIV+ but with regular vetting and remaining indoors only she will likely live a long, healthy life. She has been in foster care with and without other pets. We believe Fawn 2 would make a very calm and accepting addition to a household with other cats. She is very independent and low maintenance and can thrive in a range of homes.she would require a creative approach to vet visits. One option is an in-home vet. Another is that you can work with your vet to schedule a sedated exam or use Gabapentin to relax them. Story
Snowflake 3 (Born 9/18/2018) is a beautiful and affectionate work in progress. This naturally small little girl is usually weary of new people but she really opens up once she gets to know you. She often hides but is very food motivated. Her favorite treats and wet food will help gain her trust. Her foster family has had a difficult time picking her up and putting her in carriers so she may need work in that area. Snowflake 3 loves her foster sister and would do well in a home with a very interactive feline companion. The ideal adoptive family would have experience with socializing feral cats. With a little bit of space and a lot of love there is no telling how much more she could grow with the perfect family! She doesn’t tolerate being picked up so she would require a creative approach to vet visits. One option is an in-home vet. Another is that you can work with your vet to schedule a sedated exam or use Gabapentin to relax them. She would prefer a home without children.

**Please check your SPAM folders as sometimes our messages go there** **Please note: applications must be filled out via our website - www.angelcathaven.com - thank you for understanding.** Snowflake Mom (born 1/26/2018) is a domestic short hair female cat. She came in with her kittens and has been working in her foster home to become the perfect quiet friend. She is a sweet, loving but shy timid cat. Until she gets to know you she is very timid and it is very unlikely you will get to touch her. Once she learns to trust you she will be looking for attention all the time. Snowflake loves to play with her toy mice, and her foster brother. She gets along well with other cats. She has met children but would prefer a quiet home and will hide if it gets too loud. This cat is currently in a foster home so if you would like to meet them please fill out an adoption application. Story
**Please note: applications must be filled out via our website - www.angelcathaven.com - thank you for understanding.** Franklin (DOB) is a sweet, very affectionate all-black adult male cat. He has stomatitis which is under control with his current medication regiment. Because of the stomatitis, he has lost all of his teeth and continues to have the potential of an inflamed throat. It is under control and well maintained with the medications he is on. He will require medication and regular vet visits to keep an eye on him. He is able to eat dry food and he loves treats (although we crush them up and sprinkle them over his wet food for a special treat - yes we spoil him!). He loves other non-dominant cats. He still needs some work, but we think he has potential to hang out with you on the couch one day as he’s such a loving guy! He will be shy when placed in a new environment, and will need to be in one room to give him plenty of time to adjust to his new home and new people. With time (and/or a friendly cat to hang out with) he will warm up to you. He is not the type of cat that will come to you to seek attention.- but he gives you that "look" and you know he wants you to pamper him. He LOVES to be brushed and to be told how handsome he is! He purrs and shows you his belly with a good brushing. He really would be a very sweet addition to your home. This cat is currently in a foster home, so if you would like to meet him please fill out an adoption application. They can be found at www.angelcathaven.com and can be filled out online or emailed to cats@angelcathaven.com. **A special note: given the current social restrictions we are under due to COVID-19, the adoption process will be a longer one than usual to ensure the health and safety of everyone involved.**
