To begin the adoption process, please fill out the SOTB Adoption Application completely. Once your application has been submitted, our Adoptions Team will be in contact shortly to set up a phone interview and a home visit. Go everywhere, do everything boy. Great beginner's dog.Are you looking for a dog who wants to snuggle? What about a dog who will go with you on adventures? Well conveniently we have just the dog. Rafi is around 6 months old as of the beginning of August. He is a shepherdish-labby-something mix of a goofy puppy who wants nothing more than to go places with his people and then snuggle during nap time.  Rafi's a moderate energy dog, he's crate trained, housebroken and walks nicely on leash. He's content with sleeping most of the day but wrestles with his foster sister for 15 minutes a day and plays in the yard for about the same length of time daily. The rest of the time he's either chewing appropriate toys or napping, probably beside his foster mom.   Rafi would thrive in a home with another dog to play with, he isn't picky about how large or small, male or female. He's been good with children and cats, though he likes it better when the kids are big enough to play with him without falling over. Rafi has been to the barn with his foster mom and met horses without fuss. He picks up everything his foster mom teaches him quickly and if you wanted him to go get some trick dog titles or even try out the CGC tests, he would happily participate. Think Rafi sounds like your kind of dog? Visit southofthebully.com and fill out an application, he's a good one!  Our adoption fee is $300. This covers spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, all age appropriate vaccines, and any needed vet care. August 19, 2024, 10:37 pm

She came in the rescue nervous and not used to household noises to now happy go lucky dog ready to play. Story
Meet Millie May! Quick Facts: Breed: German Shepherd mix Estimated Birthday: 12/11/2022 Size: roughly 80lbs Meet Millie May, the girl who has it all - funny, friendly, athletic, curious, and smart! (They do say that variety is the spice of life.) Millie May is a happy, healthy adult dog who loves to play, explore, and make new friends. Whether it's playing with toys or finding the best spot for a tummy rub, Millie May is always game. If you're looking for a fun-loving, curious, and cuddly companion, look no further - Millie May is the girl for you! Here's to many happy adventures together! Millie May loves a good car ride, chewing on bones & has recently discovered the art of swimming. She is a goofy girl, but maintains her sweet nature while proving how incredibly smart she is through training! She is very food motivated & we encourage her adoptive family to utilize this to invest in obedience training. She does know "sit", "down" & is working on "stay". She can be protective of her favorite bone with other dogs in the home, but is easily redirected with another bone or toy she likes. Millie May has done well with the cat in the home and doesn't pay him any attention. She has not resided with a child, but is a still a big puppy at heart with lots of energy to burn. She sometimes knocks things over & sometimes her feet forget how to feet, and that may include bulldozing children who are less on the durable side. Millie May is crate trained and mostly house trained, she has occasional accidents. Before emailing- please read: - Yes, this dog is available for adoption - The adoption fee for Millie May is $265 - Apply at c2cnd.org - The adoption fee covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, spay/neuter, and any other medical expenses while in our care. - Local adopters only.
