Story
We got Daisy when she was just 4-5 months old from a rescue shelter, she is about 10 to 11 months old now. Unfortunately, I at the time of adoption, I had a hybrid work from home job and my wife worked part time. My wife has since gotten a full time job as a flight attendant and I was ordered to be onsite at my job full time now, which I am usually gone for 10 to 11 hours with commute time figured in. Daisy needs more time with someone, she is incredibly loving, and sweet, she is not a barker, and I don't want to leave her stuck at the home by herself all day. Daisy will use potty pads, but she much rather prefers a doggy door and the outdoors. We brought Daisy around my friends cats and we have birds, she wasn't interested in either one of them and had no aggressive behaviors around them. Every single person she has met she has been over joyed to meet. Daisy comes with toys, pads, a kennel, water and food dishes, treats, bones, wet and dry food. She is chipped and has all shots

Story
Ally is a one year old, 65 lb German Shepherd mix. She loves to play with dog toys and run in the backyard. She also enjoys a good long morning and/or evening walk, and her leash manners are improving with each walk. Ally is very smart and learns quickly, especially when rewarded with a little treat. Toy puzzles and searching for her food is a great way to help keep her mind busy during the day! She does well in a crate when she needs some downtime, and she sleeps through the night in her crate. Ally would prefer to sleep on a cushy dog bed next to her people, once she settles in at her new home. The most important thing to Ally is getting to spend time with her people. She gets attached very quickly. Ally gets along fine with the other dog in her foster family's home and would do okay with one other dog as long as the other dog is playful. She is working on not being possessive of her toys with the other dog in her foster family. (She is also very happy to be the only dog as well.) She also gets along well with her elementary aged human foster brother. Ally spends the weekdays with her foster mom at work (in an office setting) and is a very good girl. She does not bark at the door and gets along with everyone who comes to the office. Ally would do best in a home with Kids over 7 years old, No cats, and No more than one other dog. The first step to meeting beautiful Ally is to submit your application at www.humanetomorrow.org, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Story
I’m 68 and recently a widow. Daisy needs a dynamic active relationship with the outdoor world and family. She’s 2 yrs old sweet, gentle loves kids and adults. Spayed all shots taken and on monthly heartworm, flea and tick medicine. She’s really smart. I walk her off leash and she listens to commands and obeys. Thanks for letting me post my story. I live in the DFW area.

Story
I found Koda abandoned 2 months ago in my neighborhood. My fiancée and I took him in but unfortunately can’t care for him anymore. He’s such sweet boy and he’s so loving and playful. Loves to chew on a toy bone and squeak toy. Loves to play fetch and is very intelligent (knows sit, lay down, wait and free for eating, shake). Loves to lay on the couch and cuddle. At home, he’s the sweetest boy but plays a bit rough with my other pups. Would do best as an only pet. There are some scenarios that need to be accounted for - an extreme food aggressive dog and when fed, must be isolated until he finishes. Additionally, fear aggressive as well, so just needs someone who will be careful in exposing him to scary situations.

Story
We found Baron the weekend after Thanksgiving holiday running the neighborhood frantically and we could see he was confused and frightened. He came to us with no reservations and was happy to wear his slip lead and come into the house, He has adapted well to his kennel area and he and the other dogs have been nothing but friendly to each other. Baron is about one year old per the vet.. He will go to the vet this week for bloodwork, testing, vaccinations and will be ready for his neuter surgery two weeks later. Baron knows a couple of commands and has shown he knows what to do with toys! Loves the ball and loves the rope tug toy. Like most German Shepherds, he is EXTREMELY smart and wants to please. Baron will make a fabulous addition to the right family. For more information, please email can.adoptions@yahoo.com.

Story
Miso is looking for a loving foster home to help him recover while he is receiving medical treatment. Foster Reason: Upper Respiratory Infection (URI) Foster Time Frame: 1 Week (The foster time frame could be longer depending on future medical results and needs.) Foster Care Plan: Miso is currently being treated for an upper respiratory infection, which is similar to a common cold. Since he may be contagious to other pets, we strongly recommend keeping him in a separate, dedicated space such as a spare bathroom or bedroom until he has fully recovered. He will go to his foster home with medication, and once his treatment is complete, he`ll be ready for surgery/adoption. Foster to Adopt: Miso is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please visit https://www.operationkindness.org/foster/ or email us at foster@operationkindness.org to learn more.
