Story
Odin is a truly handsome, young, 88 pound, Great Pyr boy that was born 1/2/23 and is looking for a family to love and chill with.  This big boy is fully grown and is the so very easy going and good natured.  He was raised with his brother Thor on a country property owned by a senior lady who has come to realize that both the brothers need homes where they can be an inside dog and part of the family.  She cannot provide that and so is now willing to let each one go to separate families that might have children (he loves children) and to be a part of maybe even living with other dogs or cats.  He is good with everyone he meets and all creatures.  This boy is not housebroken as he has never been inside for any length of time to learn the rules and the signals for potty breaks.  He is a loving and easy dog to have around and we want him to become a part of a family life that offers him a big dog bed and lots of love and guidance.  He is good with meeting new people and doesn’t bark excessively at all.  He will bark if he is bored outside in a pen.  He plays nicely and is fun and happy.  If you are interested in this one year old handsome boy please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com and let us know where you live:  city and state and let’s start a conversation about him possibly becoming a part of a special family lifestyle.   PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.           PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comAugust 19, 2024, 8:06 am

Story
Curious Civic is our most handsome freckled face, 80 lbs. Great Pyrenees mix boy that is just so laid-back guy that is just so wonderful to consider for an adoption.  He has a beautiful blue eye and that could be from so many different breed mixtures that influence his good looks.   This boy is under a year of age and at times can be dog selective if there is an alpha that tries to dominate him.  He is just won’t take being pushed around.  Most Great Pyrs will not.  It is their breed and nature of the breed. He walks great on a leash, enjoys car rides and has a nice disposition that is loving and mild mannered.  He would be a wonderful couch companion for watching anything YOU want on TV.  He is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative and micro chipped If you are interested in this boy please contact us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   He is ready to go! PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.August 19, 2024, 8:06 am

Story
Meet Mr Van Morrison! Van is a Great Pyrenees mix and is about 7 mos old and came to Outcast with his 3 siblings. Him and his siblings were all very under socialized. Van has had a particularly hard time adjusting to the real world and is still very timid and shy. He is absolutely sweet as pie and would not hurt a fly! He is an old soul and you can’t help but melt when he looks at you with those big beautiful brown eyes. Van is good with other dogs, is house and crate trained. He has met several kids ranging from infant on up. Van would do best in a quiet home, with not much commotion. He needs people who will take the time and patience to earn his trust and continue to work on helping him conquer his fears. Van is truly a gentle giant and will make someone a very loyal companion. You must be over 21 to apply and live within 2 hours of the Lehigh Valley, PA area within NJ or PA (NO EXCEPTIONS!) Visit our website www.outcastrescue.com to submit an application. Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN, $175 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Meet  Dolly , the spirited and lovable Great Pyrenees/Pit Bull Terrier mix who’s ready to bring joy and laughter into your home! At just 6 months old and weighing 35 pounds,  Dolly  is a medium to high-energy pup who adores attention and playtime. One of  Dolly ’s most endearing habits is her talent for gathering multiple stuffed toys and proudly carrying them all at once—talk about impressive multitasking! She’s already learned to sit for treats and will go to the door when she needs a potty break, though her excitement sometimes gets the best of her.  Dolly  is a big fan of stuffed and crinkly toys, walks, and fetch. She dreams of a fenced yard where she can safely chase squirrels and enjoy her playful antics. While  Dolly  can be a bit socially awkward with new dogs and needs slow introductions, she quickly settles in and shows her sweet side. Crate training is going well for  Dolly —she’ll go in for treats and settles down after a brief whine. She walks nicely on a leash and is a calm car rider.  Dolly  would thrive in a loving home with a yard, where she can enjoy cuddle sessions on the couch, fun walks, and lots of playtime. If you’re looking for a loyal and trainable companion,  Dolly  is your girl. Bring this bundle of joy home and watch her fill your days with happiness!    Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. August 17, 2024, 11:52 pm

Story
Marshall was born on 10/28/21. We got him from a breeder in Lancaster,Pa. He is a sweet boy and very gentle. Marshall is an escape artist and keeps getting out. We live in a residential area and it is just not the right environment for him. He needs land, maybe a farm so he can protect the animals. Our yard is just not big enough and it is not fair to him. He is great with other dogs and kids. I am not sure about cats. He is a barker but that comes with the breed. He’s just a good protector. This has been a long, tough decision but we need to do what is best for Marshall.

Story
Adoption donation $525 weight  79 lbs  Age: 1 year as of 3/23/2024              Logan is a friendly and sweet boy who is the quintessential family dog, he adores children and just loves to be with his people. if you sit down, you will likely find his big head nestled on your lap. He loves toys and bones and is a very easy-going boy. Logan is 100% House trained.        Logan definitely needs a yard, this boy loves to be outside! He doesn’t go far, if you call him, he will come right over to you. he is leash trained and if you have a big enough crate, he will go in there for naps.         Logan’s father is a purebred Great Pyrenees and mom is a 35 lb mixed breed. His original owners in Mississippi put two of his sisters in a cardboard box in front of their house with a sign that said “free puppies.” Wags rescued the puppies and found them loving homes. The owners refused to give up Logan and his sister Lila but kept them tied up outdoors. Wags was finally able to  convince them to relinquish the two and Logan and Lila went to the rescue, enjoying freedom for the first time. Lila has just been adopted, now it’s time for Logan to find a loving home of his own.         Logan got along well with most of the dogs at the rescue, although he’s definitely the alpha male and does not like to be challenged by another male. In his foster home in the northeast Logan lives with three females, including a puppy who jumps all over him, and he just wags his tail. We’ve noticed that he does fine with small and medium dogs but tends to get more alpha with dogs his size. For that reason, we would prefer a home with dogs smaller than him or just a home where he can be the center of attention, he really just loves people so much.       Logan has been neutered and is up-to-date on his vaccines. He is a healthy boy who is ready to make a lucky family a very loving companion. All Wags adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip  and transport to the northeast. Story
Crosby is a gentle giant. He is a very kind, loving, and experessive dog. He is best known for two things, his extra extra large size, and his extra large smile. He is 155LBs, and very tall as well. He is a Great Pyrenese at heart, and true to his breed, he is a protector and will bark to let you know of people walking outside of his fence, dogs, walking, the mail man, etc. He is certainly a barker in that way, however not in general when hes inside (unless he'd really like that treat you're holding). Crosby will do best in a home with one person or a couple with teenage children or older. Crosby is extremely kind to kids of all ages, but is very large and can be a challenge to understand how to play with for little ones. He loves walks, and does great on the leash! He loves to play in the yard, and have a good bone once in a while. He does not get the time and attention that he needs and deserves and finding the right home for him is with his best interest at heart.

Story
KENNEL ID #01658&#226&#128&#139 Marius is a cross between two livestock guardian breeds. Marius and his sibling's owners decided a vacation was more important than caring for their 8 dogs. Marius was not socialized very much and takes a while to warm up to you.  He is already a fantastic watch dog. He absolutely loves being outside and keeping an eye on things. He did come from a working farm so he needs an experienced owner that has prior experience with dogs that missed out on early socialization. He is affectionate to the staff that he knows, but it does take some effort on their part to win him over. This is pretty typical for guardian breeds. He will do best in a home without small children who may not understand that he needs some space and time to feel comfortable.  Marius deserves a chance at having a happy home. He just needs the right happy home. He is not an apartment or condo dog. He simply would not do well in a situation where there is a lot of commotion or new people. He would love hanging out with his besties and getting all of their attention all day. Thank you for your interest in rescue. If you would like to be considered for adoption please submit an application to adopt. APPLICATION TO ADOPT: https://form.jotform.com/240606049335150      If you have any questions regarding the adoption process please email:  dianespets1486@gmail.com August 18, 2024, 3:50 pm
