Story
He's red and white. His brother Ronin is black and white. They are a bonded. See my brother. https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/43143962-suwanee-georgia-husky. He loves people and is all tail wags when new people come around. He and his brother Ronin are inseparable. He came to live with us when he was 6 months old. His first owner didn't have experience with Huskies and brought him back. When we were getting his baby brother he was so laid back we took him so the boys would have companionship. Miku is about 10 years old with no health issues. He needs a family that's active. After a divorce he hasn't been getting enough exercise and needs to lose a few lbs. His mom and dad were large, but he definitely gained weight when my ex left him and his brother behind. Now that my son is in college and I work a lot he and his brother need more attention than I can provide. Miku is a sweet somewhat shy boy and would be a great addition to an active household.

Story
Little Guy is a sweet, spoiled boy that likes nothing better than spending time with his people. He would be a wonderful pup to go hiking with on leash. He and his brother, Dozer, are avid critter chasers and will dig after those critters if not watched. The Husky in him means he needs to stay on a leash but the lab does calm him down some. He still has a lot of puppy in him but has outgrown the worst puppy traits. He also doesn’t mind his crate for short periods and sees it as a safe spot to take a nap. He loves children but may be a bit much for some very small children. He loves to give kisses and attention and small children are the right size to be face to face for those kisses. He also thinks he is a lap dog at times and loves snuggling on the couch. Little Guy can be a little shy around other new dogs and may take a little warming up, he has been around many different foster dogs though. He is on the smaller size, thus his name. If you are looking for a very loyal, loving smaller sized pup then Little Guy may be the perfect addition to your family. The boys have had all of their vaccines, been microchipped and neutered and on monthly flea/heartworm prevention. If you are interested, please fill out an application at www.mushrescue.com or email adopt@mushrescue.com with any questions.

Story
Noel is our special needs girl but we know she has the perfect home out there. She has been diagnosed with a neurological condition that causes her to walk a little differently on occasion and affects her temperament periodically. Noel is expected to live a long happy life, her diagnosis does not impact her life expectancy. She can be somewhat unpredictable and was unsocialized as a puppy so needs to be an only dog in the house. Noel loves her food and her sleep and doesn’t like to be bothered during those times. She is housebroken and crate trained, she LOVES her crate. Noel’s new family would be required to have a fenced yard as she loves to run. They would also be required to provide her with endless toys! She loves loves loves her toys and doesn’t shred them, rather treats them like her babies. Noel will need to have annual neurological exams. She’s a sweet girl and deserves a home of her own. She is current on vaccines, spayed and microchipped. For more information, please email adopt@mushrescue.com or complete an application https://mushrescue.com/prospective-owner-application/

Story
Meet the twin girls, Sydney and Sammie. They are 11 months old and just the sweetest. They are vaccinated, chipped, and spayed. Fostered in Williamson, Ga Sydney (larger) and Sammie (smaller with a scar under the eye) are the sweetest little duo, at just a year old they're the gentlest little girls. The way their little curly tails spin in the opposite direction is too cute. Petite and playful, they love each other more than anything else in the world! They don't pull on a leash but don't expect too many straight lines. They take food gently and are fantastic with all 5 of our young children. They go running in the yard with the 8 and 3-year-olds and sit around with the infants crawling around them. They handle the loud and crazy environment that is a household always full of children very well. They love meeting new people and new dogs and have excellent manners, as long as you don't mind extra kisses. Syd is a little more bold and Sam is a little more shy, but they balance one another so well. They share an extra large (52") crate at night and have been accident-free in the crate all of their time with us. They do need help remembering that the inside of the house is a potty-free zone too as most of their lives were spent confined outdoors. They learn so quickly, though! They love a fluffy toy and they love to shred them! These girls will have you laughing at their little faces and bright personalities while filling you with all the fluffy love they have to offer. They're truly appreciative of their humans and are just happy to be along for the ride, as long as that ride is with their sister. They really are a package deal and don't even care for quick times apart.  Sydney (Siddy) and Sammie (Samsam) have so much love to give! They would do best in a family with energy to play or walk or children to run with. They do well in a fenced-in yard and will do great with more leash practice. They love other dogs but don't "need" them. They're equally happy ignoring the other dogs outside with them and just playing with one another.  The girls are currently fostered with 7 other dogs ranging in size from 13 to 80 lbs. They have done ok with the smallest dogs but do have a high prey drive and haven't spent a lot of time with them.  Unsure about cats.  No known medical issues, not picky with dog food, and haven't had sensitive stomachs, up to date on flea/heartworm meds and routine care. Story
Little Foot is energetic and lovable. He likes to go on walks and is great on a leash. He does not like to be alone and would be great for a family with a bunch of kids. He reminds me of a little fox the way he prances around. He is great with other dogs too and has many cute quirks you will notice once he's yours! He was rescued from an abusive situation where he was left in a small enclosure outside and malnourished. The adoption fee covers the neuter and vaccines I paid for out of pocket.

Story
Hello, I’m Linus. I am a 4-year-old (born 5/31/2020) mixed breed. I have those beautiful blue and brown Husky eyes that will steal your heart. I have been raised with my lab sister and we get along great, but I can forget I’m a big boy when first playing with other dogs. My humans love me dearly, but I am not comfortable with the new human babies that have joined the family. The toddlers scare me when they are running around, and I have become very depressed. My favorite thing in the whole world is cuddling with my people on the couch. I have always lived indoors with my family. I walk well on a leash and ride well in the car. I would love to meet you and find a family where I do not have to run from toddlers all day.

Story
Home for the Holidays - Reduced Adoption Fees if Adopted by January 10th!  Hi hoomans, my name is Doli, and I'm in the prime of my life at about 10-years-old.  Everyone comments on my sky blue eyes and thick husky-type hair that is every shade of gold you can imagine. My tail is like a fox's - thick, long, and curly. At 50 lbs, I am a fit and healthy girl  I am very chill and quiet. That doesn't mean I don't get excited because I do! When the "hoomans" come home, I do a fun little wiggle dance to welcome them! I would be a great fit for a shared wall situation (i.e., like an apartment of townhome) since I rarely bark. I LOVE being outside and like going on walks and car rides. When I am inside, I have the very "bestest "manners. I like the security of my crate, but I don't need to be locked in. I sleep in my crate, on the floor, or in the master walk-in closet that I think is my den. I wouldn't dream of chewing up anything. Well, maybe I would DREAM it but wouldn't DO it! I am shy around new people but warm up quickly and have adjusted fine in my foster home. I am not a fan of other animals, but if I see them out, I ignore them and hope they go away!  Hope to meet you soon! Story
Home for the Holidays - Reduced Adoption Fees if Adopted by January 10th!    Meet Brut, Your Future Best Friend!    Brut is a 1-year-old Husky Lab Pit mix who is not only charming but absolutely gorgeous with a heart full of love and a playful spirit. Weighing in at approximately 43 pounds, this sweet boy is fully potty trained and walks nicely on a leash. He thrives in the company of other dogs and would flourish in a home with a canine companion. Despite being a bit shy at first, once he warms up to you, he’s ready to share his playful energy and affectionate nature. Brut enjoys outdoor adventures, but he also knows how to kick back and relax after some fun. And with his beautiful soft green eyes and infectious personality, this pup is hard to resist! While Brut is upbeat and active, he does have some special medical needs due to a heart valve defect that required surgery. He will need yearly echocardiograms and medication for life, so his ideal family should be prepared for ongoing veterinary care. Additionally, Brut would do best in a single-family home rather than an apartment, as he has a loud bark when he gets excited. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who brings joy and laughter into your life—and you can provide the love and support he needs to continue a healthy and full life—Brut is ready to find his forever home with you! He will make every minute with you count and give you lots of joy in return!   An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.          December 13, 2024, 2:45 pm

Story
Adopted pet from Gwinnett Animal Shelter. She is too energetic for us. She is 3 years old and at the time we were told she was 6-year-old. We had lost our other dog in January and wanted more of a lap dog for companionship. She would be a great dog for a runner or possibly a hiker. She loves the outdoors and runs like a greyhound. She is loving but has too much puppy. She has been trained in the basic commands. We feel like we are doing a disservice to her.

Story
Annalise is a grey and white beauty. Annalise was an owner surrender and out of time at a high kill shelter. Owners probably used her up from overbreeding. She loves to play but is also perfectly content to sit on the couch and watch TV.  Annalise would be considered a senior probbly 9-10 years old. She is sweet once she gets comfortable but fearful and barks at new people. Annalise was treated for ectopic ureters and is doing great but will need to be on estrogen and proin for life. She would do best in a quiet home with out children.  she loves other calm male dogs but wil not tolerate crazy ones!    Don't you have the room for a lovable girl?
