Story
Hi there! My name is Emma, and I’m a 2-year-old Siberian Husky mix with a stunning white coat that looks like fresh winter snow. At 34 pounds, I’m the perfect mix of petite and energetic, and I’m ready to light up your life with my playful, sweet personality. I was found lost and brought to the shelter on 12/04/2024. While I’m grateful for the kindness I’ve been shown here, what I really dream of is a forever family to call my own. I am spayed and my vaccinations are already up to date, so I’m ready to roll! I will be microchipped and heart worm tested upon adoption. I’m a sweet girl who’s also got a playful side. I love to have fun, but I’m also attentive and love to please. I’ve already learned to sit nicely for treats, so just imagine all the tricks we can learn together! If you’re looking for a loving, playful companion to brighten your days, come meet me at cage #805. My ID is 6648. I can’t wait to show you just how special I am and start our new adventure together! 🐾 Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.

Story
This blue-eyed boy is Nemo! He arrived at the shelter as a lost dog on 12/7, and no one has come to reclaim him. The volunteers describe Nemo as friendly and easygoing. He has been quiet in his kennel since his arrival, and he walks great on leash! Nemo does know how to sit, but during his photoshoot, he preferred to sniff around. He is inquisitive and loves to explore which is typical of huskies! He is a working breed, so please make sure you have the time and energy to commit to his well-being. Nemo will need someone who can keep him mentally and physically stimulated. If you're looking for a new adventure buddy, come meet Nemo today! Nemo is approximately 3 years old, and he weighs 48 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he will be neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Nemo is waiting patiently in run 88; his ID # is 6721. Story
Meet beautiful Juliet! She arrived at the shelter as a lost girl on 1/1, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim her. We're surprised no one is missing her because she sure is a great dog who can follow basic commands. Juliet is friendly, smart, and athletic. Huskies are a working breed, so please make sure you know a bit about the breed before adopting. They tend to be escape artists if left unattended and make their own adventures if you're not keeping them physically and mentally stimulated. Please ensure you have the time, patience, and energy to keep up with Juliet! Juliet is approximately 2 years old, and she weighs 45 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, and she will be spayed, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Please come meet Juliet in run 853; her ID # is 7269. Story
Teddy is a loving and energetic pup! He loves to snuggle and play. Taking long walks and running are his favorite outdoor activities. Teddy is a full bred I acquired from a breeder in Tennessee. Unfortunately my financial situation has changed quite a bit since I adopted Teddy a year ago and am no longer able to take care of him. Teddy would make a great companion for a family looking for a playful pup.

Story
Nellie is a 10 month old husky/bulldog mix who is always looking for her next adventure! I found Nellie running around in my neighborhood one day and she practically hoped into my car without hesitation. I was walking her around the neighborhood the next day where her original owner saw me and when I tried to reunite them he claimed he didn’t want her anymore. I took her in begrudgingly because I already have a dog and didn’t want to deal with puppy behavior but also didn’t want to take her to a shelter. I’ve had her for a few months now and she’s very sweet with every person and dog she meets. However she is very active and inquisitive and she’s needs someone who can give her structure in a way I can’t. My other dog is an older rescue who’s just more self reliant and dependable and Nellie is a wild card that I think might fit better in an active multi person/dog household.
