Simba is a 9-month-old, 50-pound bundle of energy and love, ready to find his forever home! With one striking blue eye and a gentle demeanor, this handsome boy has a big heart to match his growing size. He’s a great mix of playful and snuggly—perfect for anyone looking for a loving, loyal companion.Simba is currently in a foster home where he’s been showing off his friendly personality. He lives with 7 other dogs ranging from 30lbs and up. He’s great with younger, playful dogs and has a lot of energy to burn. Though he can be a bit too much for older dogs at times, he’s learning boundaries and responds well when corrected. While he’s not a fan of the crate yet, Simba is housebroken and is doing well with his leash training. He’s smart and will thrive with continued training.This sweet boy loves being around people, especially kids! His foster family includes an 8-year-old girl, and Simba has been so gentle and loving with her. He’s also fantastic in the car—he recently laid in his young foster sister’s lap during a long drive.Simba does have some anxiety about being left alone or separated from his people. He loves to be wherever you are and will do his best to stick close.
