Suki is a Husky we pulled from the Texas shelter, where she was in danger of being euthanized. After arrival, we discovered that she needed surgery for ingrown eyelids. We allowed Suki to settle into her new foster home before she underwent the surgery. After healing from her surgery, Suki's beautiful eyes are wide open now, Suki is 49lbs. We're unsure of Suki's exact age, and neither are the vets. She's between 4 to 7 years old. Regardless of her age, she has her energy, loves her toys and loves to play with the resident dog but also loves to take naps in her bed, and don't bother her during her beauty sleep ? Suki is housebroken and doesn't require a crate. Walking nicely on a leash unless she's distracted by a rabbit She gets along well with most dogs she encounters on her walks. She knows the stay command. We never tested her with cats. She loves to be loved and to give kisses when she feels like doing it. Sadly, Suki was bred too many times, resulting in some sensitivity in her belly and lower back. Consequently, she dislikes people touching these areas and prefers to initiate affection on her own terms. Due to this, we don't recommend young children to be around her, and she would be better suited to older adopters. She was found at an abandoned house, left in a dirty pen with two other dogs, surviving without food or water for some time. For the past 9 months Panda Girl has been sadly waiting patiently for her forever home at a small town shelter, existing in a dark and depressing, tiny concrete cell. Despite her tough start, Panda Girl is a true sweetheart and still has a great attitude and grateful for any attention or moment outside her cell in the play yard. This girl is able to stay out in the play yard a lot because she gets along well with other dogs and adores everyone she meets. Her time in the shelter's play yard shows that she still has a playful spirit and friendly nature. This poor girl needs a break from this mundane existence in a shelter. 9 months is sheer torture and we hope someone will help her get out by fostering or even better, adopting. The very next day after arriving at the shelter she had 3 puppies. Flora is the mum and she is a Siberian Husky who is the same colour as Aspen. The shelter she was at was full and there was a big plea to save her and her babies lives to which we answered. All the puppies are very sweet. Aspen is now ready for his home after being fixed, had all shots for his age and micro chipped. His breed is high energy so no apartments. A fenced in yard and buddy would be wonderful. Your new best friend could be sweet Bradley Cooper. This handsomely unique boy is a 2 year old, 55 pound, Husky/Elkhound mix with lots of love to give. His Frank Sinatra blue eyes are just gorgeous and he has the intelligence and personality to match his eyes. Bradley Cooper has been neutered UTD on all vaccinations, HW negative and preventation, and microchipped. This boy is being offered after he was found on a senior woman’s farm property and it was obvious he was dumped there. We are assisting this woman in having him vetted thoroughly and searching high and low for a great family to give him a wonderful new place that he can hang out forever. We have met this boy several times and he is really a true gem of a dog. He has no imperfections and no bad habits or issues. He gets along well other dogs, children and everyone he meets. We have seen a side of him that is very true blue and loyal. He is so very friendly and open to meeting new people and new experiences. He walks well on the leash and enjoys making new friends while out on a walk in the neighborhood.. He is well trained and such a smart boy. He loves to play and give kisses. Bradley Cooper will keep you smiling and is so deserving of his forever home.
