Meet Evelyn, this pretty girl is 2 years old and 45lbs. She walks well on leash and crate trained. She has gotten along with every dog she has met, but small animals and cats probably aren’t a good idea. Evelyn does have a bite history, but has done very well in her time with us. She will need a large yard with a 6 ft fence. and likes to be outside most of the day. She may prefer a doggie door so she is free to roam. Evelyn is a headstrong girl, and does better when she can be free to spend her time roaming outside. Interested in becoming a forever home for Evelyn the Husky? All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Meet Tali! This 21 lb blue eye stunner is only 16 weeks old and has as beautiful of a personality as she does eyes! Tali is probably Siberian Husky but is possible she has other breeds we do not know about! It seems to be that she won't get bigger than 60 pounds but it is hard to know for sure. Tali is fun, loving, and is always eager for a friend or doggy to play with. Tali has started crate training and is doing really well as long as she is kept on a schedule. She tries really hard to make it to the potty pad every time or wait until she goes outside but as puppies go she will still need some extra training. Suki is a Husky we pulled from the Texas shelter, where she was in danger of being euthanized. After arrival, we discovered that she needed surgery for ingrown eyelids. We allowed Suki to settle into her new foster home before she underwent the surgery. After healing from her surgery, Suki's beautiful eyes are wide open now, Suki is 49lbs. We're unsure of Suki's exact age, and neither are the vets. She's between 4 to 7 years old. Regardless of her age, she has her energy, loves her toys and loves to play with the resident dog but also loves to take naps in her bed, and don't bother her during her beauty sleep ? Suki is housebroken and doesn't require a crate. Walking nicely on a leash unless she's distracted by a rabbit She gets along well with most dogs she encounters on her walks. She knows the stay command. We never tested her with cats. She loves to be loved and to give kisses when she feels like doing it. Sadly, Suki was bred too many times, resulting in some sensitivity in her belly and lower back. Consequently, she dislikes people touching these areas and prefers to initiate affection on her own terms. Due to this, we don't recommend young children to be around her, and she would be better suited to older adopters. Hello everyone, Juneau is a beautiful sweet 6 month old Siberian husky that my daughter received as a gift. He is very friendly with children, other dogs and people. He is house trained and can do some tricks. He is fully vaccinated and chipped. We are looking for a loving home that can give him the proper attention he requires. Our main issue currently is that my daughter is now focusing on her final year of college and internship. In addition, we have ferrets and the pup doesn’t seem to understand that they are not chew toys. But aside from that he is an amazing little guy.
