Story
Meet Huron, a stunning 2-year-old Alaskan Husky with a gentle and sweet nature. This lovely girl may be a bit shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, she opens up and showers you with affection. Huron is treat-motivated, which makes her eager to learn and a joy to train. She's also well-mannered on a leash, making her an ideal companion for walks, hikes, or just a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood. While she may take a little time to adjust, Huron's loving personality shines through once she trusts you. She's affectionate and loyal, and she'll be your most devoted friend once you've built that special bond. Whether you're looking for a calm companion or a furry friend to share life's adventures with, Huron will be by your side, ready to show you how sweet and loving she truly is. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Sinatra Blue Eyes It’s a real good bet. The best is yet to come. Ol’ Blue Eyes here. Sinatra Blue Eyes to be precise. Just like my names sake I’m a dapper young guy with plenty of swagger and charm. I’m a bit of a mystery. However my ice blue eyes, tuxedo coat and beautiful singing voice may give away my husky mix. I’m around 45lbs and only 1 year old, but I’ve got a good handle on life’s big hurdles. I’m house broken, and do great in my crate. While I walk well on my leash, hiking is my favorite. I love everyone with 2 legs, or 4 and everything in between. I’ve got lots of puppy energy and lots of snuggles to give when I get it out. I’m full of love and play and would love to find my own forever Rat Pack.  Come meet me to forget your troubles and just get happy. We’ll chase all your cares away.  Apply to meet me at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 22, 2025, 4:15 pm

Story
Look closely and you will see the cutest little details in Ladybug! The splash of pink on her nose, two different color eyes, one which has a white speckle that just looks so cute. She has a perfect Husky face with just enough sprinkles of unique to stand out from the crowd. Of course, we cannot guarantee it given she is a rescue but some breeds can’t hide, no matter what is mixed in there. She is such a lovely version of her perceived breed, with the mix bringing in fun elements that are not always seen in the breed. See for yourself then come back to read more. https://youtu.be/PXpaRmTLw_4 We believe Ladybug is 1.5 years old and she weighs 48.8 lbs fully grown. A great size! Just like with breed, age is not a detail we can guarantee given the nature of rescue. Although huskies can sometimes be considered aloof and detached, that is not the case for Ladybug. She is a loving, playful girl, who loves being on the couch, gets along well with other dogs, and loves a tennis ball! Confident and friendly-Ladybug is truly easy company! She is so fortunate to be fostered in a loving home while she waits for her adoption day. This not only ensures she is well-versed in house manners, but gives us a front-row seat to her personality. Her fosters share that she was an easy addition, gets along well with their dog, greets guests with friendly, welcoming energy, and has wonderful house manners. This includes being both house and crate trained, and she is quiet in her crate whether it is through the night or stretches during the day. She would love a home with a yard for exploring and although we haven’t heard her husky-song, a little space is always encouraged with the Ladybug types. We introduced Ladybug to a handful of dogs, a variety of sizes and temperaments and everything we saw, and her foster family shares, she is definitely dog-friendly and would love a playful doggie sibling. Her confidence and affection for people lead us to believe she could be equally happy as a one-and-only dog as long as the adventures were regular and tennis-ball play sessions were promised. Thanks to Ladybugs leash skills and ease in the car, she is a perfect tag-along pal. On leash she walks at an easy pace with moments of distraction for passing dogs or an interesting smell but she redirects easily and is no trouble. Her foster family shared she can load up on her own, if you get the door she can handle the rest. In the car she is quiet and can be found either looking out the window at the sights or snoozing the miles away. It’s easy to see what makes Ladybug so lovable and special! She is ready for forever and all the fun that is waiting! Questions? Email katiak@threelittlepittiesrescue.org We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA  or Brattleboro, VT for the eastern Canadian border)! Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles, including buses and cargo vans. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey! You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience!  The adoption fee is $900 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectible, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!  We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.  Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!  Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.  The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family  Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions  70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer  Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission! Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms.
