Hello everyone, my name is Valen. My name means "Strong, Healthy." My life has had a bit of a struggle since I was found dumped at a local lake. At ten weeks old, I was dumped in some underbrush. My muzzle was bleeding and oozing. It was so painful. I was dumped because I had a rare Autoimmune disease called "Puppy Strangles," and I was skinny, wormy, and full of fleas and ticks.No one knows where I came from. What my parents looked like. All we know is what my foster mom has learned. She always tells me how awesome of a fellow I am; she would keep me if she didn't have so many in her pack. My foster mom has had two other puppies with Puppy Strangles, and she made them healthy, too. I am almost ready to leave my foster home for my furever home. She has taught me to sit, house trained, leash trained, and dog/ cat social etiquette. I love people and children. I am unique, intelligent, and loads of fun.
