Story
*Courtesy Post* Due to some radical life changes from her owners, 4 year old lab min "Lola" is looking for another home Lola can be shy at first but quick to warm up once you gain her trust (this is true with both humans and other dogs) Lola can be excited on leash at times, and vocal when she wants something or if the crows are teasing her in the back yard. She would do best with someone who works from home or can take her with them when they leave for lengthy periods. She isn't destructive but just lonely, and let's the world around her know. She loves cuddles on the couch and is an affectionate dog full of personality. A fenced backyard where she can run around or someone with an active lifestyle is important as she loves her exercise. Spayed and up to date on all shots. Not a good fit for a house with cats.

Female, 4 mos
Nanaimo, BC
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)

Good with dogs, Good with cats, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Fran and her siblings are alive because a kind woman would go feed their pregnant mama who was living outside near a riverbank, shortly after being born there, mum and pups were taken to safety into the SPCA PV sanctuary. Now its time for them to find real families to love them. Fran is stunning with her sleek black coat and white toes in a squirmy puppy body. Fran was born with extra toes in her back legs, a condition that is not harmful (in fact some snow breeds were bred with them, so perhaps he was meant for a life in Canada!) Fran is healthy, vaccinated and ready to travel to her new home with flights available to Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, and less frequently to Vancouver island. We think Fran will grow to be about 55 lbs. Fran has been exposed to cat and is playful with dogs. If you think you might be his happy ever after or a foster on the road to a better life, message us at pvcaadoptions@gmail.com or go direct to our application: https://forms.office.com/r/b1Fkq3u4zw (check your junk mail in case we get redirected when we respond)

Story
Born August 2024, Sabrina is one of our Charlie’s Angel’s puppies. Her and her sisters were found young, abandoned and full of fleas, ticks and hungry, near our sanctuary in Puerto Vallarta. They are beautiful AND smart. Sabrina and her sisters have been popular with tourists at the Saturday market - loving the cuddles and admiration of strangers. She is good with people, dogs and cats. She’s wiggly, smart and full of personality . Sabrina is healthy, and happy but would be much happier with a family all her own! We expect her to grow to 35ish lbs. If you think you might be a fit, email us at pvcaadoptions@gmail.com or you can go direct to our application here: https://forms.office.com/r/b1Fkq3u4zw. Story
8 year old Yesenia is a lab x boxer looking for a home. Yesenia was surviving when kind strangers might feed her, but had to be a strong resilient girl. They suspect she may have been used for breeding and was subjected to having her tail docked. When they no longer wanted her they just left her to fend for herself. Yesenia reads people well and likes to be comforted by them. Yesenia prefers male dogs and isn’t a fan of cats. She is spayed and vaccinated, weighing a perfect 45 lbs. If you think you might be Yesenia’s second chance as either an adopter or foster, she’d love to hear from you by emailing us at pvcaadoptions@gmail.com or going direct to our application: https://forms.office.com/r/b1Fkq3u4zw (please check your junk mail in case we get redirected)
