If you give Weasel a chance, he will reward you with a lifetime of love and loyalty. Submit an application today and meet your new best friend!Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.       Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. Story
This sweet girl has had quite the ride.  First, she was found as a stray in rural Louisiana by a nice lady who took her in and found her a new home.  Unfortunately, that home did not turn out to be forever and she was found tied to a tree and pregnant.  The lady heard about this and took her in but reached out to one of our rescue partners for help.  Thanks to an AFH foster, she was able to give birht to her pups in a warm, safe, loving foster home. Sasha has been a great mom to her pups and will be available for adoption once her pups are weaned. She will be spayed and can go home once that is complete. Sasha is a small girl and would be a wonderful addition to your family!Accuracy is not guaranteed; however, information provided is accurate to the best of our knowledge.  For more information on the pet, please send an email to info@aforeverhome.org January 13, 2025, 8:31 am
