Meet Coco! Coco is an itty-bitty pug with a huge personality! This confident, silly girl loves people and will keep you laughing with her antics—like diving into the toy basket to find her favorite toy. She’s also incredibly sweet and gets along great with dogs of all sizes, from tiny Chihuahuas to big senior pups. Coco is easy to walk on a leash and would thrive in just about any living situation, whether it’s an apartment or a house. She’d make a fantastic family dog or your new bestie. Despite her goofy side, Coco knows how to sit for a picture or a treat (though she might be a little picky!). When playtime is over, she’ll climb into your lap and cover you in kisses. If you’re ready for a loyal, loving, and silly companion, Coco is ready to make your life brighter! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. Story
Please meet Oso. He is a 12 year old Pug mix who ended up in our care with his sister Zoe. He weighs 27.4 pounds, is up-to-date on shots, neutered, microchipped and ready to fulfill his Christmas List wish of finding a home that will love him until the end of his days. Oso is very much a ball of fun who loves other dogs and is looking for someone to play with. He loves his kennel and knows that when it’s bedtime, that’s where he goes, and he’s normally the first one in there! When Oso wants your attention he will bark and when he wants to go outside, he will stand at the door until you acknowledge him. We were told he lived with cats previously and was afraid of them and that he did great with kids. He has not been around cats or kids since in our care so we aren’t sure. Ready to meet this older gentleman? Fill our an application for him at https://alternativehumanesociety.com/statement-of-interest-dog/   ##2252349##

Story
Please meet Zoe. She is a sweet, shy girl who has no problems spending time by herself in her own kennel or on her favorite spot on a chair, that she picked out and claimed as her own. She enjoy car rides and also sitting on the porch in the sun, watching life go by. And she loves snuggling up with her person. Zoe is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations and microchipped. She is 12 years old and is a smart, gentle soul weighing in at 20.3 pounds. We were told she does well with kids and cats, but she hasn’t been around them while in our care so we don’t know for sure. Interested in meeting her? Fill out an application at https://alternativehumanesociety.com/statement-of-interest-dog/ ##2252350##

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Ever been torn between adopting a pug or a chihuahua? Love them both? Well, today’s your lucky day! Meet Feta, a 2 year old, 12 lb joyful and lovable pug-Chi mix (also known as a “Chug”). She came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Feta combines the best traits of both breeds! She has the iconic pug face, but as a mix, her snout isn’t as pushed in as a purebred pug’s. This gives her larger airways, meaning less snoring and better overall health for a brachycephalic breed. She’s also more athletic and heat-tolerant than a typical pug, with eyes that are well-protected, reducing some of the common challenges flat-faced breeds face. Her personality? Pure sunshine! Feta is playful, energetic, and full of happy-go-lucky charm. She loves every human and dog she meets, radiating friendliness wherever she goes. From her chihuahua side, she brings devotion, loyalty, and an excellent watchdog instinct, ensuring you’re never caught off-guard. Feta’s energy level makes her best suited for families with older kids who can keep up with her zest for life—toddlers and preschoolers might find her a little too much. She’s fantastic in the car, she is potty pad trained and is crate trained. When she’s not playing or exploring, Feta loves nothing more than snuggling with her humans and relaxing on the couch. Feta is an absolute delight and the perfect blend of two amazing breeds. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion with endless love to give, Feta can’t wait to meet you! Feta is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and will be spayed prior to adoption. Her adoption fee is $500.
