George was wondering around a big Avenue and then her rescuer saw him, he wasn t in bad shape so her rescuer thought that he might be missing so she took him to the vet and post him on fb hoping to find his family but after a couple of weeks her rescuer realized that poor George had being abandoned so she promised to him to help him find his forever home. Im a special pup with a heart full of love! My journey hasnt been easyI was hit by a car and found myself in a shelter during scorching +100F heat with a broken leg. Thankfully, the wonderful folks at Church of Pug rescued me! Ive had orthopedic surgery to fix my leg, and Im blossoming more each day in my foster home. Its clear I was well cared for and loved before becoming a stray. I adore attention and absolutely love treats! Right now, Im on crate rest to heal my leg, enjoying the cool A/C with my fellow pugs and even some catstheyre pretty cool too. Ive also made friends with a neighbor kid who gives me treats and pets, which I happily accept! My foster mom thinks I'm likely house trained as well, but hard to confirm since I have to stay in the crate except for potty breaks.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Meet Lorilei! She is a cute, 1 year old, Pug who came to us from CA to find a better life. She is super friendly, fun, happy-go-lucky girl who wants to be in the presence of her person at all times. She is very affectionate and loves to give kisses. She does well with other dogs but would honestly love to be someone’s “one and only” and soak up all of the love and attention for herself. She can resource guard people (when they are eating) and other dogs are around as she loves people food but really doesn’t care about dog food. She is a great girl who would make a wonderful addition for one lucky family. Lorilei is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $600.

Meet Bruno! This young pup came to us a few weeks ago. He was found in a rural area and was clearly in distress. It appeared he had sustained a head injury, possibly from being hit by a car, or possible from abuse. It is hard to tell. He has been recovering in his foster home and is doing very well. He is an outgoing and sweet little boy. He loves other dogs and all humans though he can be a little hand shy at times. He loves playing in the yard outside and chewing on his toys. He is so much fun. He is a little more wary of men and seems to prefer women but he is easily won over with a bit of patience. Bruno is generally in good health but his injury has left him with minor neurological damage. His depth perception is not 100%, likely because one side of his brain sustained the injury and cause damage to his eye. He can see but the eye is turned outwards a little bit. He can sometimes turn in a circle, or walk backwards, as if to get his bearings. Overall he is just delightful and his mild impairment just makes him more endearing. Bruno is vaccinated and microchipped. He will be neutered at our cost between 8-12 months of age. We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495. Thank you for stepping up to save a life!
