Mac loves everyone, including his tiny human sister and his four legged brothers and sisters, and he play chase with one of the resident dogs. He's faster than you would think! He likes to bring his toys to his soft bed for nap time. He loves going on car rides and stopping at Sonic for his favorite doggie treat. Mac likes his routine, so he needs a calm, quiet, low activity home. WOW, take a look at handsome Lance!! He is a 7 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Hound mix, but breed mix is just our best guess. Lance loves running zoomies around the large yard at his foster home, and he is super fast! Lance is very social with other dogs and people and loves having playmates of both types. He thinks he is a lap dog, even with his long legs, and he loves getting belly rubs! Lance is a great walking partner, but his Hound nose does cause frequent stops along the way, to sniff all the interesting smells along the way. We think he will be fine with kids over the age of 6. Lance is crate trained and potty trained. He has a loud bark and will alert you when someone is nearby, so he is not suited for apartment living. Otis is a 4-5 year old, energetic, Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. He is very sweet, and loves his booty rubs. He’s been through 3 homes, and needs to find his forever one! He needs a big back yard, someone who will take him on all the walks, and all the patience you have to offer. He is good about going outside, he’s good with other animals, but he likes to get into whatever mischief he can. As long as he has plenty of chew toys, he’s good to go! I recently got a new and more time demanding job and just don’t have the time anymore, unfortunately.

Summer was born approximately on July 7th 2021. She was found as a stray with open wounds on her legs and feet. Her owners were never found. She spent some time healing at a foster home and she did great. Friendly with people and children. Loved spending time with the family and snuggling and playing with them. She has been at the facility for some time now all healed and working on manners. She is improving her leash training and learning not to jump. She knows sit and understands the command NO. I love doing zoomies in the yard and spending time outdoors. She has made some friends at the facility. Slow introductions would be recommended. I found Charlie dumped and abandoned on the side of the road in front of my house. A friend came by to see him but she was not able to adopt him. We took him to the vet to find a microchip with no luck, and they said he’s about 10 months old, so we got him his puppy shots while we were there. We are currently fostering him until a loving family comes to take him home. He’s a little skittish because of his history, but has been able to get more comfortable over time.

Bear is a two year old, 78 lb Catahoula mix, but breed mix is just our best guess. Bear's name fits him perfectly. He looks like a bear, acts silly like Yogi Bear, and is sweet and cuddly like a Teddy Bear. He is a regular visitor at Camp BowWow and loves playing with the other dogs. Bear is strong like a bear too, so he needs an adopter who can handle him on leash. His leash manners have improved a lot, and walking him on a harness is a must. Bear is potty and crate trained. He would love to sleep in bed with his people but is content to sleep on a soft dog bed in their room. We are recommending no kids under the age of 6, just due to Bear's size and strength.
