Meet Mattie! She is a quirky, three year old Shih-Tzu who is looking for the right fit for her forever home. She is full grown and weighs 18 pounds. Mattie needs to be the only dog in the house. She also needs a home without cats or any kids under 12 years old. Her owner MUST be experienced with dogs! She loves to be a lap dog and get lots of pets, but she also thinks that humans are her play time friends and can play rough with people. She walks well on a leash and is crate trained and house trained. She has some quirks at home, like barking at the TV. Mattie will need to see the groomer every month or so for a trim, but she can be a bit of an.... well.... her groomer with have to be experienced with little dogs who have a bit of a 'tude.... While we know that Mattie has many restrictions we know that she can find the RIGHT home! Story
King has been with us since 2015. He was originally my sister’s pet. My sister passed away and King was with my mom who now has Alzheimer’s disease. King was very close to my mom and is having separation anxiety. He has been a little hard to care for since he has been away from my mom and he needs constant attention. We would like him to be with someone who has experience with dogs with special needs. King will need a loving owner who is compassionate and patient. He loves to run and play with his toys although he is an older dog, King tends to be more relaxed during the day. He’s not a big eater but he does love pup cups and riding in the car. King does have some issues with tinkling indoors due to anxiety since he has left my mom, so he would need to be walked frequently. King doesn’t mind being dressed up in cute clothes either. He is a very loyal companion once he gets to know his owner but he loves attention. My hope is that King finds a loving forever home.

UP FOR ADOPTION- ROMEO Oh Romeo, Romeo, where-fore art thou Romeo? Well Romeo is at Saved By Grace Pet Adoptions patiently waiting for a new home! Romeo is a 8 1/2 year old male Shih Tzu. This sweet boy is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, clean bloodwork and has just had a dental. He is an older fellow so he does have cataracts. He was in need of a good groom so we found a great groomer to come out and take care of him. Romeo is a house broken, crate trained, calm guy and is still very playful. His previous owners have said that he is good with kids, dogs and cats! If you would like to meet Romeo, please contact us at 770-787-4899.
