Story
Danny Boy is a big lug of a sweetheart who loves to be with his people! He enjoys a good game of tug-o-war, fetch, running, agility work, and snuggling on the couch. Danny is leash trained, potty trained, crate trained, and does pretty well in the car. He knows a variety of commands (just needs reinforcement), and has a very gentle mouth when giving retrieved items or taking treats. Danny would do best in a home with calm, moderately active adults who have experience owning working breeds and/or bully breeds. He has been raised with young kids and has done pretty well with them, but we're not sure how he would be with other kids. He needs help working through anxiety over new situations and people, and opportunity to run and learn new working or agility tasks. We've done our best for Danny Boy and hope to find him a home where he can really grow into his potential and thrive!

Story
I adopted Porkchop from Oregon Dog Rescue when he was about 6 months old. He had been rescued living on the streets in South America. He is now three years old. Porkchop and I have worked really hard on his guarding behaviors. When I was living alone and it was just the two of us, we figured out a good rhythm. I am now living with roommates, including another dog and a cat in the home, and it isn’t working. Porkchop has guarding and reactive behaviors that have been exacerbated since moving in with other people and animals. We have done reactive dog training through the Oregon Humane Society and explored anxiety medication, but his behaviors have not improved. I think Porkchop would do really well in a home without other pets. He plays with other dogs outside of the home and has never had any issues (relatives’ dogs, dog park, walks, etc). He is such a sweet boy, loves cuddles, playing tug, walks, and running at the beach.

Story
MEET TOBY - Toby is a handsome and shy blue Pit Bull Terrier, who has been waiting almost three years for a home. He was rescued from a shelter and was the longest shelter resident at the time, and stayed there about four months. Toby seems like a sad dog - he rarely smiles and that's because his person or people have not come along yet. He is a sweetheart with people, and loves human attention and affection. He knows how to sit and shake, and he loves toys. Toby can be reactive on a leash, so may do best as the only dog in a home. He is a strong boy, though only weighs about 55 lbs. Toby currently needs a foster or forever home. Can you help him? Please email for an application.

Story
MEET SARAH. This very sweet and stocky Pit Bull Terrier was given up by her owner recently due to marital problems in the home. This was devastating for Sarah, who was adopted at only 8 weeks old, and now is about 3 years old. Sarah also lost her canine pals when her home fell apart. She is clearly overweight - she weighs about 75 pounds and is now on a diet! :) She loves kids and other big dogs, but does not do well with cats or little dogs. Despite her sad story, Sarah is adjusting well and is truly a lovebug. She needs a foster or forever home. Please email for an application.

Story
HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON! I'M MARCY! I'm a sweet and lovable 8-year-old female red & white Pit Bull Terrier in need of a new home. There are a few things you should know about me. First, I truly do prefer to be an only dog, though would likely do well with a male pal, as I had one before. But I love people and am very loyal. I also love being petted, rubbed and given lots of affection. Secondly, I was attacked by another dog about a year ago and lost part of my nose, but this does not impact me one bit. I only look a little funny but it doesn't change my lovable personality. I have been waiting a long time for a home because apparently, nobody wants a funny looking dog who would love to be the only dog in the home. So if you can look past my imperfections, I would love to be your companion. I'm still very active and would be happy to go for walks and hikes. Can you foster or adopt me? I am currently looking for a foster or forever home. I weigh 64 lbs. Please email for an application.

Story
I'M GRAYSON, a sweet 6-year-old small blue & white Pit Bull Terrier, and I need a foster or forever home for the holidays! I weigh only 45 to 50 lbs. I love people and do well with some dogs. About two years ago I was diagnosed with a double hip dysplasia, but I'm doing great now. I'm simply on inexpensive over-the-counter supplements and I feel good! Now and then I can be a bit touchy on my back hips, but otherwise I'm a normal dog. I am starved for human affection, and I love to go on car rides, walks and other outings. I would do best in a quiet adult-only home with a single person or couple. I keep getting passed by and am sad that I'm not in a home. Can you foster or adopt me? Please email for an application.
