Tommy was rescued from a shelter awhile back and was skin and bones - now he's filled out and is about 75 pounds! While he's tested OK with some dogs, he would do best as the only dog in a home. She also is so patient with kids, she loves to go on long walks, she is very shy at first around other dogs but once she sees them run around and play she will start to do the same. Lincoln is beautiful, sweet, cuddly, and very smart. He is very food motivated, which makes him an incredibly fast learner. He currently knows sit, shake, down, come, wait, crate, bone, touch, upstairs/downstairs, various stations (kitchen, living room, bed, etc), and hug. Link spends most of his days cozy on the couch, but also enjoys being outside, running, playing, chewing, chasing, hiking, or just going to home depot. Link is crate trained, house trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. He can easily go 8-10 hours free roaming when needed. Stinky Link does not get along with other dogs, and would do best in an environment without other pets or small children. His owner should have experience with big dog ownership.

Zadie needs a loving home with a family that can keep her forever. She is a loving, cuddly, playful girl. Currently she is working on housebreaking and leash training. She's a little reactive with small animals, but she seems good around larger submissive dogs under supervision. She did good for walking with a slip lead but struggles to walk with a harness. She's just very bossy and doesn't know how to take another dog correcting her. She’s mostly excited to play with another dog but hasn't had the socialization to be confident while doing so. But she has the potential to be good with other dogs. Great with people and eager to learn but needs consistent training to correct her fixations. I think she would do best as an only dog to start with no other pets in the home. She would be a fantastic family dog. Unfortunately, this would be her 4th home so she needs a family that can commit to a lifelong home and has the knowledge and dedication to letting her adjust.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM BENJI! Benji is an almost 4-year-old Boxer-Pit mix in need of a forever home. He's currently in a foster home in Oregon. Benji has had a rough go of it in his short life - he was rescued from a crowded California shelter, and later was attacked by another male dog. He is almost healed from his attack though looks a little rough around the edges during the healing process. Benji is very much a couch potato dog in that he loves to lounge on the sofa or sleep on your bed. He has done fine around other dogs, but given his recent trauma we think he may be best as the only dog where he can get all of the deserved love and attention. He's very affectionate, and loves belly rubs. Benji is also an active, strong boy so he needs a strong owner, and someone who can take him for walks, hikes and other outings. A big, fenced yard would be a plus, but is not a necessity. He does have a prey drive for squirrels and bunnies, so probably would do best in a home without cats.
