I prefer to be the only dog in the home and prefer people to dogs so would do best with a single person, a couple or a family with older kids. I'm not a fan of cats either, so no kitties for me please. I am in good athletic shape and still love to go for walks and hikes. And I love the water! MEET SARAH. This very sweet and stocky Pit Bull Terrier was given up by her owner recently due to marital problems in the home. This was devastating for Sarah, who was adopted at only 8 weeks old, and now is about 3 years old. Sarah also lost her canine pals when her home fell apart. She is clearly overweight - she weighs about 75 pounds and is now on a diet! :) She loves kids and other big dogs, but does not do well with cats or little dogs. Adopted from a shelter and returned because the family could not afford to keep her, Callie has been in board and train ever since funded by good Samaritans. Although shy and reserved until she knows you, once she trusts you, she trusts you completely. Would do best in an experienced home, no cats, may be compatible with some dogs. Callie learns quickly and is doing well in boarding. 501(c)(3) Non-profit rescue seeking foster or foster to adopt who will continue Callie’s lessons as she learns to become confident and unafraid again. Rose was pulled from a very high kill shelter when she was in late term pregnancy and on the euthanasia list. She was an excellent mama of nine puppies and is now ready to find her forever home. She is in a foster home with children and other dogs. She loves hugs and playing toss with her toys. She is gentle with the children but is a big girl so probably best no young kiddos. She has medium energy, loves walks and to play but also can be a complete coach potato. She is in a home with many other dogs and gets along great.

Biggie is a 3 yr old tri-Merle English bulldog with all of his certificates. My family and I adopted Biggie when he was a puppy from a breeder. He is such a sweet, mellow guy who sometimes gets rambunctious. He is very protective which led him to not being socialized very well. He is amazing with my young children but I haven’t tried to bring other dogs or people around him. When guest are over I always put him away so no accidents happen. He used to be very kind so most likely my fault for not socializing him correctly. I’m sure with proper training and patients he’ll be back to being social and listening to commands. He was around and did fine with a cat we had previously. Usually left her alone with occasional play. My family and I are moving out of country and where we’re moving to said he’s technically an “aggressive breed” so this is why I cannot bring him and trying to adopt him to the perfect person/family.
