Story

Penny came to our rescue from a shelter in Bakersfield CA. She and six siblings from a previous litter (same mom) they were are covered with sarcoptic mange and in very bad shape. She is shy, her life so far has not been the best. She will need time, tons of patience and love. She is bonded to Pinky another dog 4 months younger that came from the same mom. We know its exceptional to consider two rescues but wanted to put is out there just in case someone would consider them.

We adopted Lucy from the Vancouver Humane society in 2022. She was found with her sister roaming the streets at about a year old. Unsure of the conditions she was in and for how long, Lucy has shaped out to be at her best when she is the only pet. She has a history of being very skiddish around animals and strangers. Lucy is a very timid dog upon first meet, but when she warms up she is a very excited and happy girl. Due to her history, she is looking for a single pet household. We are sure with the right home she can be her happiest self.
