Story
Travis' story is so sad. His terrible previous owner took him and his sibling to a field in the middle of nowhere and just left them. Miles away from any homes or streets. No food, no water, no shelter. So incredibly sad. When someone happened to come upon him, he was staying in the same place he was left. With his collar and leash still attached to him.....patiently waiting for his owner to come back who never came. Rescuers would go to feed and give water daily and he'd be staying there in the same spot waiting day after day. All the rescuers were over capacity or they would have taken him the first time they saw him. Then after 5 days he finally left and then it became a hunt by the rescuers to find him which they did but it took another couple weeks to locate him. Travis is a really good dog. He's very loving once he knows you're safe and that he can trust you. He's still playful and energetic if you want to play with him in the yard or go for walks or hiking but he's calm indoors. He's neutered and up to date on shots. Just waiting for his forever home.......someone that will never abandon him again.

Leo was rescued from Texas where he was abandoned with another one of his fur siblings we also have named Magnolia. He is such a sweet, smart boy. Very loyal and affectionate and ultra smart. He had to have been raised in a home due to his good manners. He does great with other dogs, cats and children. He is neutered and up to date on shots. He's a special one.

Story
Autumn and her momma Audrey were recently reunited after being adopted out separately from a rural pound. This has been amazing, since they are VERY bonded! Neither was thriving without the other. Our vet's best guess is that Audrey is a cattle dog mix and Autumn looks to maybe have some pug in her! Audrey loves being with and playing with Autumn, but Audrey also enjoys her alone time and LOVES LOVES LOVES to snuggle on the couch (or elsewhere) with her people. She and Autumn are perfect riders on car rides, not anxious at all. They are great with cats, and have shown no signs of food aggregation nor toy aggregation. They are honestly the perfect combination. They love to be around, play and snuggle with you, but if you are busy, they will occupy their time with each other! It's truly a "win win" having them together! These girls would do well with a fenced in area, or running area would be ideal for them so they can romp together when they get the zoomies, or just lay out in the sunshine, enjoying the day. Audrey is a little on the timid side, so a home without small children would be best, as they may intimidate her. Fill out an application at www.maggiesmissionrescue.org

Story
Meet Sofia Carmie's pups were born 5-14-24. There are 5 males and 5 females. Mom is a 40lb. Cattle dog and as sweet as they come. We do not know what dad was and it appears that there could have been a couple different dads. Some of the pups have a short coat and others have a soft fluffy coat. They are smart pups that are already learning to use their outdoor pen to potty in. A couple have been in foster homes, so are started on crate training and housebreaking. Fill out an application @ www.saveamomrescue.com and be sure to notify your Vet that we will be calling for a reference. Meet & greets will only be set up for approved applications by appointment. Adoption fee is $400 , Pups are microchipped, spayed/neutered, age-appropriate vaccinations, fecal, deworming, started on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. . East Sparta, OH
