Story
Hiya, I`m Link!A young boy like me is always ready for adventure, however I am looking for a partner that can take me through the serious training that I`ll need in order to be adventure ready. As I was a stray, I can be a bit nervous with new people and may take some time to make new friends. Once warm up I am a goofy ball of energy and love affection. I would enjoy the company of another dog that can handle my heeler energy and bouncy personality. I do ask any residence in the home be over 15 as I need work on being more social and am not a fan of sharing my things. If you`re interested in devoting time to have the best partner around, please stop by the shelter to meet me.---This animal is available by appointment only. Please reach out to schedule a visit with one of his handlers!---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603Kennel #16516717-917-6979lancaster@pspca.org

Story
Meet Rascal:  Rascal is a 2 year old Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix that weighs around 35 pounds.  Rascal was rescued from a high kill shelter a day before she was to be euthanized.  Rascal loves attention and is very sweet.  Rascal can be dog selective but has no reaction to cats. We recommend older children because Rascal is energetic and sometimes jumps on you. Overall Rascal is a nice girl...just needs some work and stability. Rascal is house and crate trained but needs some work on her leash walking. Rascal will need a fenced in yard where she can run and a family that is very active and experienced. Rascal will make a great dog in the right home. Rascal is up to date on all her shots and spayed. If you were interested in adopting this sweet girl, please go to our website at charliescrusaders.org and fill out our adoption application. Story
Maeby is a four year old Blue Heeler born on March 13th, 2020. She is a very smart girl and is very loving and protective. She gets along well with our other dogs, however she tends to be reactive towards dogs she does not know well, along with people. Maeby will need someone who is willing to exercise her, ideally someone with a backyard or some land. She is very high energy and requires to be worked physically, as well as mentally. She is such a sweet girl and deserves a home that can give her everything she needs. She tends to be reactive on her walks (lunging at people, cars, and other animals), so she needs someone with patience. When she is not in an environment that overstimulates her, she is the best dog you could ask for. She knows tricks very well and can sit, stay, do paw, lay down and spin :-) If you have any questions regarding Maeby, please reach out!

Story
Callie is a 52 pound cattledog/german shepard mix who we are rehoming due to a change in family circumstances. She just turned 5 and is snuggly, playful, and loyal. She is housebroken, crate trained, knows basic commands (sit, stay, lay down, place, wait, heel), and has good recall. She is healthy, spayed, and is up to date with vet appointments, shots, and flea/tick medication. Similar to most cattledogs, she is wary of strangers at first but warms with a proper introduction and a few treats. She does well at the groomers and at boarding. She has lived with other dogs most of her life and does well at the dog park. She has lived with children as young as one year old without issues and plays well with older kids (she loves to play tug). She is very good about knowing her toys from other items and has never destroyed anything and knows her stuffed toys from the kids stuffed toys. She is medium energy and loves hiking.
