Story
Meet Josie!  Josie recently traveled all the way from New Mexico to find her forever family. Josie is estimated to be 10-12 weeks old and currently weighs 9 pounds. We think that she will be a medium sized adult dog between 30-45 pounds.  Josie is a mellow, yet courageous and brave girl who loves to be by your side. With a heart that's as big as her spirit, she'll never be too far away from the action or from your loving pats. So far she seems to love the company of other dogs as well. With her smart and quick-learning attitude, she's already mastering commands like 'sit' and 'shake', and she’s well on her way to learning 'down'! She's very comfortable sleeping at night in her crate and is picking up potty training very quickly!   If you're looking for a companion who's got an endless supply of love and adventure, then Josie is the perfect match. This little social butterfly is ready to spread her wings and find a home where she can continue her adventures. Could that be with you? Adopt Josie and let her light up your life with her courage and charm! For more information about Josie or the adoption process, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're looking forward to helping this brave girl find her forever home with you!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 20, 2024, 2:35 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! My name is Mandrill M (they call me Maddie). I would really like to find my forever home for the holidays. Let me tell you about myself. I am about six months old and the best guess on my breed is heeler/hound mix, definitely some hound in there as I like to use  my nose and you will notice the floppy ears and I am sure you noticed my stunning eyes. My best part of the day is playing with my foster sister and watching her so I can learn. She is a good teacher. I am potty trained and I spend my nights in a little area made just for me where I feel safe. My foster Mom always gives me treats before bed to make sure I know it is a good place. I have learned some basic commands like sit and I know go potty! That’s when it’s cold outside and Mom is in a hurry. I am just starting to learn fetch and I am working really hard on off as I really love to hug and it’s hard for me not to want to jump up to hug you. I am a good traveler in the car so it’s easy to take me with you. I live with 2 cats but I do like to taunt them so only cats that are smart about dogs would be best. I get along great with all size of dogs as long as they are nice to me. Oh and I should not forget to tell you that I am great on a leash. The hardest thing for me is meeting new people. I am very timid so I really need someone who is patient and willing to let me get familiar with you before you expect those hugs but once I am comfortable get ready because I will want lots of loves and reassurance. I am eager to learn and adventures would help me to build confidence and help me to bond with you. I will get very attached to you because I will be looking to you for reassurance to know I am safe. I am so excited to find my new home and become part of a family. If you think you could love me for a life time please apply to meet me at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 20, 2024, 9:45 am
