Independent yet loyal, Fiona enjoys a good play session but also loves to snuggle up and be petted and praised. She's smart and curious, always ready to explore new things. She's gentle with her fellow dogs and enjoys their company. A true water lover, Fiona would make a perfect beach companion, zooming thru the sand and fetching a ball or toy. However, she's not suitable for a farm environment. She adores the companionship of her human and always tries to please. Why should you adopt Fiona? This absolutely adorable super fun dog was rescued from Kern County Animal Services. He came in with his ID tags saying call Mom & Dad if found from Las Vegas. No-one ever responded to the shelters outreach. Kite was filthy and severely matted so not sure what happened before he made it to the shelter. He's cleaned up now and doing fantastic. Kite is very playful, loves fetch and tug -o - war. He would be a great active partner for an adventurer. He weighs 53 pounds and is approximately 4 years and 7 mo old. Great with other dogs too. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required.
