He was found wandering on the streets of Rialto with his sister. Atlas was covered in fleas and ticks; he has not had vaccines and is not yet neutered. He’s a shy dog that does have some separation anxiety when left alone. He is nervous around new people and can bark or growl, but he does warm up. This absolutely adorable super fun dog was rescued from Kern County Animal Services. He came in with his ID tags saying call Mom & Dad if found from Las Vegas. No-one ever responded to the shelters outreach. Kite was filthy and severely matted so not sure what happened before he made it to the shelter. He's cleaned up now and doing fantastic. Kite is very playful, loves fetch and tug -o - war. He would be a great active partner for an adventurer. He weighs 53 pounds and is approximately 4 years and 7 mo old. Great with other dogs too. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required.
