Meet Theo! This silly boy is a hoot who will make any family happy. He is true to his collie breed and loves to play with his herding ball. He can be a bossy-pants boy but is very smart and trainable. Theo would love a home where he can get regular exercise and enrichment! He is incredibly sweet and good with other dogs and people, but as we said - he can be a sassy-pants so older kids might be better. Theo would love to find a family to love him furever!

CiCi is a 9 month old Aussie mix who came to us from a shelter we work with where she was a staff favorite. She weighs 30 pounds and won't get much bigger. She has some house manners such as potty training and is learning more. She is a smart girl who gets along with other dogs. She would do well with another dog in the home to play with and show her the way. All Heart of America dogs are altered, micro chipped and will have age-appropriate vaccines. He loves to play fetch (especially if the ball has a squeaker!) and tug of war. He’s loves his daily naps but when it’s play time or treats are involved he’ll get the excited shakes. He’s extremely smart and loves to learn new tricks and games. He is great with kids of all ages and is a perfect walker on a leash. He's really an easy and super chill guy! He’s good with other dogs with gentle and gradual introductions. Approximate Birthdate: Apr 2017 Adoption Fee: $200 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming. TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial . Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed. Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds. Crater is a pup who mostly prefers to sit back and observe his siblings shenanigans. He’s a snuggly boy and really enjoys human interaction over rough housing with the other pups. Our longest longtimer, Finley! We pulled Finley from a small shelter in southern MO over 3 years ago. And he's been patiently waiting for his forever home since then. He's had zero interest! Fin is a 4 year old border collie mix with a lot of border collie energy! He's dog friendly with a proper introduction, but would also be okay as an only pet. He loves walks and playing fetch. Finley is potty and kennel trained and knows basic commands. He is super smart, and loves to show off just how smart he is! Due to his energy, he will do best in a home without small children. He does have food allergies, and requires medication to keep them at bay. Fin is our longest foster resident! This sweet boy has been waiting since 2021 to find his forever family. Help us find Finley a family to finally call his own!
