Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.     Rambler (6yo, 50lb) is a presumed Beagle/Lab/Terrier mix and needs a home with another dog around his size & age to show him that being a dog IS pretty cool! Rambler came to us from a background of hardship. We aren't sure about his whole story, but came to rescue as a meek and skinny boy and was missing half of his ear. He also came to rescue with heartworm. He was successfully treated and has been diligently kept on Heartguard (Tri Heart Plus) ever since.  He has made HUGE progress since being in rescue. This guy deserves to find his forever home. He is working on trusting humans, new dogs, and being away from his foster mom. We think Rambler would do best in a laid-back home with a solid 6ft fence, a confident dog, and a human who is patient and ready for him to break out of his shell. He is crate trained, potty trained, walks well on a leash, and tries to be very brave when he meets new dogs. "Treats!" is one of his favorite words! Rambler is a true diamond in the rough. He is our longest resident (Aug. 2021) and we are hopeful that his perfect human is out there.   Interested in adopting? Please complete an interest form on our website  here  If you are viewing this listing on PETFINDER there is often MORE INFO ON and MORE PICS OF the animal DIRECTLY ON OUR WEBSITE. http://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org *Rambler's a doption is $525 + tax* redemptionroad.mn@gmail.com https://www.facebook.com/RedemptionRoadRescue  All animals fully vetted appropriate for age: spayed/neutered, rabies vaccine, DHPP vaccine, 4DX test (@12 months or older), microchipped with lifetime registration, dewormed, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention.  *Since we typically don't know a rescue dog's actual genetics, their breed and estimated size when grown on their bio is just an educated guess based on information ond observations we have.*  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 28, 2025, 10:45 pm

Story
Hi, my name is Billy, and I am a Beagle born approx 9/1/23. I came to Minnesota to get away from the wildfires in California. I was already in a shelter when the fires started, so I had to move to make room for the ones who needed to wait for their families. I am a fun and playful boy. I love to run around and play fetch. I will also snuggle up with you after playing. I get along with all the other dogs and people in my home. I love squeaky toys and especially ropes. I love to go outside and just have a ball thrown around for me. I like to try to play with the cats in my house (I don’t do it to hurt them, I just love playing). I am still working on my house training, and I will go in my kennel to eat, when my foster family is not home, and at night. I hope that you’ll be my forever family!   Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:  $525.00Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 12, 2025, 8:54 pm

Sometimes the pets appear to be a particular breed(s) in the pictures we receive from our rescue partners and when they arrive we are surprised to see an entirely different breed(s) in person!  If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess. It is with deep longing that we wish there was a breed called 'cute' as we believe all of our dogs would fall under this new breed classification! Completion of an Adoption Application via our website www.midwestanimalrescue.org is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is the first step in our adoption process.  *Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We do not accept personal checks. Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance. //

Story
Meet Mason, a 2 year old Beagle mix.  He is an absolute sweetheart once he gets to know you. Mason is very hesitant when meeting new people and will take time and patience for him to trust. He may need a couple meet and greets with potential adopters to feel comfortable. Mason cannot be kenneled as it causes great anxiety. He is free to roam the house when I’m gone and has never caused any harm. He loves kids although very small kids might be overwhelmed by him. He gets very exuberant when he gets excited and could accidentally knock a small child down. He is very food and treat motivated. He knows sit, shake with both paws, and lay down. We’re working on stay and off. Mason needs lots of leash training. He gets so excited by all the smells while walking and pulls quite a lot. He loves to run and I’m sure with some leash training he would be a great running partner, once he gets the zoomies get out of the way! Mason would do best with a fenced yard since his beagle nose tends to lead him to places he shouldn’t go.  He hasn’t met another dog he doesn’t like! He would love to have a furry playmate to run and wrestle with. Mason lives with a cat and the only time he bothers her is when she runs, then he thinks she wants to play, and he will chase but has never done anything to hurt her. The vet has said Mason has some teeth that could be problems in the future so he will need yearly dental checkups and can only have soft treats. Mason is very affectionate and loves to give kisses. He loves being outside playing but is just as content cuddling on the couch. He will be a very loyal family friend to anyone who has the patience to earn his trust.  Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Dental, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Story
Hi!  My name is Slim - but don't let the name fool ya, I love food, and I love treats!  I am a Beagle/Terrier mix born approx 3/15/23. I love my foster brothers and sisters, but I would prefer to be with my humans - I love to lay next to them and have them rub my head and get belly rubs!  I am not very loud or rowdy, and I am actually very shy until I get to know you.  I am house-trained, and I do very well in my kennel, which is where I sleep and spend my time when my foster family is at work and school.  I do well with other dogs, but I have not been around a cat - although, usually, I don't focus on anything except being by my humans.  I love taking walks and am very good in the car when we go on rides.  I would love to meet you and show you what a good cuddler I can be! Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Lorenzo found himself dumped at about 9 weeks old in a high kill shelter in West Texas. He loves all dogs and everyone, cats are unknown. He loves to play and snuggle after.  All dogs and puppies require supervision and training to be successful. Hello, My name is Lorenzo. and I'm a mixed breed. I love running and playing in the backyard! My foster mom tells me that I'm doing really well with potty training and am working hard to perfect it. I also sleep quietly in my kennel all night long. I adore hugs and belly rubs. I'm friendly with other dogs, but my foster mom says I should take it easy with the hugs, as not all dogs like them that much. I enjoy playing with my toys, eating treats, going on walks, and keeping you company. I'm looking for my forever home. Could you be the one?   First priority will go to someone who lives in the twin cities metro in order to bring to a vetting appointment at the end of May  Please put in your application on our website mattysheartandsoulanimalrescue.rescuegroups.org.      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 18, 2025, 8:31 pm
