Story
Location: Minneapolis, MN Zion is a great, lovable puppy who loves to play and be with his people. He is the cutest guy around but is still learning to potty outside and is working on his puppy manners. He does nip and rough house when playing with our kids, so older kids may be best for this little one. He loves dogs and would love a playmate. Plus, he is high energy so a playmate may help tire him out. Zion is very food motivated, which is great for training. He is kennel trained. Once tired, he enjoys snuggling with his people. Zion would do best with those who are home more often as he does not like to be alone. Someone with some dog training experience would be best as well as he will require patience with training and someone who knows the importance of draining a puppy’s energy. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Jeremy is a playful little rascal with a mischievous streak and a whole lot of love to give. His days revolve around the puppy trifecta: eat, sleep, and play. He’s got a funny little hop when he gets excited, and his playful noises make him all the more endearing. Whether he’s romping around with other dogs or entertaining himself with toys, Jeremy is happiest when he’s busy. He’s still learning the ropes of being a dog,  but his loving nature and playful spirit make him a joy to be around. If you’re ready for puppy energy and plenty of laughs, Jeremy might be the one for you! Jeremy is from Texas.  If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Mia! This sweet girl is a cuddle bug who adores being close to her humans. Her favorite part of the day? Treat time! Her least favorite? When her humans have to work—but as long as she has her favorite stuffy, she's content. Mia has a special spot on her back that, when scratched, makes her purr like a cat and kick her right leg in delight. Mia loves playing with tennis balls and her stuffy, but what she loves most of all is snuggling with her people. Although she had a couple of potty accidents when she first arrived, it was just her nerves, and she's doing great now! She’s even-tempered and submissive, though she can get a bit anxious around other dogs. One of her favorite pastimes? Joyfully hopping on and off the bed throughout the day, just for fun! Mia's loving nature and playful spirit make her a delightful companion, and she’s ready to bring her boundless affection into a home of her own. Check out this sweet video of Mia! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Rambler (6yo, 50lb) is a presumed Beagle/Lab/Terrier mix and needs a home with another dog around his size & age to show him that being a dog IS pretty cool! Rambler came to us from a background of hardship. We aren't sure about his whole story, but came to rescue as a meek and skinny boy and was missing half of his ear. He also came to rescue with heartworm. He was successfully treated and has been diligently kept on Heartguard (Tri Heart Plus) ever since.  He has made HUGE progress since being in rescue. This guy deserves to find his forever home. He is working on trusting humans, new dogs, and being away from his foster mom. We think Rambler would do best in a laid-back home with a solid 6ft fence, a confident dog, and a human who is patient and ready for him to break out of his shell. He is crate trained, potty trained, walks well on a leash, and tries to be very brave when he meets new dogs. "Treats!" is one of his favorite words! Rambler is a true diamond in the rough. He is our longest resident (Aug. 2021) and we are hopeful that his perfect human is out there.   Interested in adopting? Please complete an interest form on our website  here . Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.     Say hi to Lulu! Lulu was rescued from a shelter in Tennessee, the day she was to be euthanized - shelter workers said they knew her original owner and that they mistreated her. Lulu is approx 8 years old and around 30 lbs. She’s very friendly, good with other dogs, good with cats. She’s affectionate, sweet, and friendly. We would recommend older children (or no children) for her because she can get touchy about her face being messed with- she can snap in fear if she doesn’t like how her face/neck/upper body is approached, or it's too quick for her. Lulu went through heartworm treatment through our rescue and is now ready for her forever home!  Interested in adopting? Please complete an interest form on our website here. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.     Benny (11mo/ 30lb) is a charming and charismatic young lad. Benny is currently being fostered with young kids, cats, a senior small dog, and a large breed puppy. Benny is the perfect blend of curiosity, playfulness, and affection! His Beagle side gives him an inquisitive nature, and his Basset side adds a relaxed and cuddly temperament. We aren’t 100% sure of Benny’s story, but he was fostered in a home with other dogs before coming to MN. Benny is still trying to learn his role in his pack, so if there are other dogs in the home, we do recommend feeding separately. He does have a little attitude when it comes to other dogs trying to take his chews or food, but once he learns that he can trust everyone - he settles down. Benny is still working on potty training, and does well on a schedule and with treats! His foster mom works from home and is trying to help him learn to jingle a bell to go potty. (Smart AND Handsome!) He is still working on crate training, but once he is comfortable, enjoying a chew, and everything is quiet, he settles in for a nap. Benny would thrive in an active home where he can enjoy daily walks, training sessions, plenty of playtime, and cuddle sessions on the couch. A fenced yard is preferred for Benny so he can stay active, but would also be good in a home with a lot of activity and adventures. He’s also very social and would be a great fit for a family with other pets or kids who can match his energy and enthusiasm. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion who’s always up for an adventure or a snuggle, Benny might just be the perfect addition to your family   Interested in adopting?
