Story
Meet Arlo: Your Future Adventure Buddy! Hey there! I'm Arlo, a senior Beagle mix with a heart full of love and a nose that's always on the hunt for the next great adventure. Please play fetch with me, I love it! At my age, I've learned a thing or two about enjoying life, and I'm ready to share all my wisdom and affection with a new family.  A Friend to All (Well, Mostly) I get along really well with other dogs. My current housemates are still warming up to me, but I don't let that get me down. Cats? I don't really mind them. I might be deaf, so maybe I just don't notice them much, but either way, we're cool. Constant Companion I adore being around my people. I'm not a fan of kennels or being left alone—unless it's naptime, of course. When I'm awake, I prefer to stick close by your side, offering my sweet, comforting presence. If you leave me alone, I might bark a bit to remind you that I miss you. The Great Explorer Car rides are awesome, but what I love most is exploring new places. My Beagle genes make me a nose-to-the-ground kind of guy. I'll follow interesting scents wherever they lead, so you'll need to keep a close eye on me since I can't hear you calling me back. Quiet and Sweet I'm a pretty quiet dog, except when I'm left alone. I don't make much noise and I'm quite content just hanging out with you. Some might call me a "velcro dog" because I stick so close, but it's just because I love being with my people. Maybe it's because I'm in a new place, maybe it's because I'm deaf, but either way, your presence means the world to me. Food Lover I love food and, given the chance, I might get a bit chubby. My teeth are in great shape, and with the right diet and some dental bones, they can stay that way. Ready for a Forever Home I'm confident, sweet, and just want to be part of a loving family. If you're looking for a loyal companion who loves to explore and be by your side, I'm your guy. Let's go on adventures together and make some wonderful memories. Adopt me, Arlo, and let's start our journey today!   ##2074689##

Hi! I'm Flick! I am from Alabama. Meet Flick! Flick is a neutered beagle mix. He is about 1.5 years old and 20 pounds. Flick is an adorable, sweet boy who loves people. Flick gets along well with other dogs. Flick is a very good boy! From his foster: I have been fostering Flick for over a month. He is a gem. We call him our little Velcro boy. He has the biggest heart. You can see kindness in his eyes. He loves to cuddle up in your arms no matter where you are. Hes a snuggle bug. He loves his kennel. He is treat motivated and goes potty outside - he is learning how to tell us but for now we just take him out and it works great. A fenced yard would be perfect for him. He's a great walker however he does love to stop occasionally to see what he might be able chase- we are working on that. He is a pleaser. He is heartworm positive so we are currently going through the treatment. You learn a lot about the spirit - this is not easy for him but what a trooper he is. Somehow I know he understands the future is bright for him when we get past this. And he knows he's safe and well cared for. Flick will make a wonderful loving companion and friend. You should meet him! Flick could benefit from additional training when it comes to being a good walker (no chasing) and coming when his name is called. Hes getting better and better. When not preoccupied he is really fun to walk with. I think he would prefer to be the only dog in the house but he is gentle and kind to our little foster Lou who is a small breed puppy. Flick is a really great little buddy.

Hi! I'm Roe! I'm from Arkansas. From his foster: Roe is such a good boy. Listens most of the time to come, learning sit and stay, and potty training is going well. Still some accidents but usually humans not paying attention. He is a great cuddle bug with bursts of really funny zoomies. Gets along with every human big and small and loves our resident to play with. Still a puppy so loves to chew but is easily redirected. He loves being outside exploring. We do not have a fenced yard but when I work outside he is very content to be on a tie-out. He is just now finding his hound voice. Really quiet for a hound mix. No cats but he seems to get along with everyone. Doing well on a leash.

Story
Hi! I'm Roc! I am from Arkansas. From his foster: Roc has a mild sweet disposition. He gets along well with other dogs and children. He was a little shy when we first got him but has come a long way in a week. He's one of the family now. Medical: I am currently being treated for heartworm disease. Heartworm is not contagious so your resident pets are not at risk! The treatment for this is 3-4 months long and requires a minimum of 3 appointments and strict rest/restricted activity. My adoption can take place during treatment, while TBB manages the financial responsibility of my heartworm treatment at The Bond Between Vet Center. Any other medical care needed outside of the specific care covered in the contract disclaimer, would be the responsibility of my new family. From the Vet: Hello! I am Roc and my vet at TBB wanted my future family to know a few special things about my medical care. I came to rescue unfortunately Heartworm Disease positive. I have started the course of treatment of antibiotics and will be scheduled for my series of 3 injections. TBB will agree to cover my course of treatment of HW Disease and an eyelid surgery. The eyelid surgery may be completed at the same time as my neuter surgery, but if not TBB will agree to cover the eyelid surgery at least 30 days after my last injection including 1 round of medications and a recheck if deemed necessary by the surgery team.

Story
Hi! I'm Dorothy! I'm from Missouri! I'd love to meet you! I love, love, love people! My foster mom says I should tell you a bit about myself! I'm a beagle, so I just love to sniff...inside, outside, anywhere at all! I am OK but not great on a leash because I want to follow my nose instead of walking in a straight line! Unlike some beagles, I don't howl & I don't bark much inside. Mom says I should warn you that occasionally something outside will require me to alert anyone nearby that something is up, but I stop when she gets me inside. My favorite thing is snuggling with my people, getting pets & giving them little kisses. But I also like soft toys to toss around. Foster mom says to tell you I usually don't chew on things that aren't toys, but I do like to carry flip flops around & deposit them where mom has to hunt for them. She says to tell you I'm so good she doesn't crate me when she leaves (although she does do a quick sweep to remove temptation). I have a big brother here...and I do mean big brother, as he's more than twice my size. He'd like to play more with me, but I'm usually more interested in snuggling with people or playing with dogs. I do sometimes though and we do just fine together, even sharing licking a post-dinner plate. I am very interested in people food (unfortunately even when I put my paws up I have not been able to reach anything they have on the counter), but less so in dog food. I do like the wet stuff mom gives me, but I tend to eat a little bit of kibble throughout the day rather than chowing down like my brother! Treats are good! I have not met a cat yet (although I'd like to!). I have met kids, including one under 2 and been great with them. So that's a little bit about me! Hope you'd like to come meet me & give me some pets & let me give you a little kiss!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Rambler is a Beagle/Lab/Terrier mix (we are guessing!) Who is oh so sweet and good natured. Rambler came to us from a background of hardship. We don't know the full story but was told part of one of his ears was shot off? Was he a stray in a rural area and was shot at? We are not sure, but he came to rescue pretty meek and frightened of humans.  He also came to rescue with heartworm. He was successfully treated for that and has been diligently kept on Heartguard (Tri Heart Plus) since then.  He also has made HUGE progress since being in rescue. He is now more trusting and happy and open. He is crate trained, potty trained, walks well on a leash and loves to be with other dogs.  We are looking for a home for him with another dog (it helps his confidence) and a fenced in yard.  Rambler is one of those "heart dogs" that just get to you as you watch them embrace the kind of life they were meant to live.  If you want to make a difference in Rambler's life by giving him a loving home, please fill out our form below! Story
Hi there! My  names Hugo! It’s a pretty big name for a low rider like me but it fits with my big personality! I just LOVE all people and dogs that I have met! My foster mom says that she thinks little kids might not be a great idea for me at this  time because I am still a bundle of energy and need some work on my manners, but you need to know I would NEVER purposefully hurt them. What can I say I just get so excited to see people that I sometimes forget that Four on the Floor is the rule! She does think that I would like to have another canine friend in the home that can match my energy and play style, however its not necessary as long as my family can give me the proper outlet for my energy. I LOVE to go on walks and smell all the smells!  Once I am tired or if everyone around me is busy I do enjoy playing with toys and chewing on bones! I really like crinkle toys, there is just something about the noise that makes my ears so happy.  I am a very curious boy who loves to be apart of any action that is happening.  I have lived with both canine and feline friends and get along great with all of them. My foster mom says that I am a super smart boy I know sit, no, and leave it. So the manners that I am lacking shouldn’t take long for me to master! Like I said I love my people so I am not a huge fan of my kennel and would much rather be with my person. Due to my curiosity my foster mom thinks that at this time I do need to be kenneled when no one is around to keep me out of trouble. I will sing the song of my people while in the kennel so no shared walls would probably be best unless your neighbors enjoy live music! I have heard from multiple people that I have the softest velvety ears they have ever touched and the cutest little waddle when I walk. I do have a funny front leg that turns to the side (from a previous injury that healed wrong?) but it has not slowed me down at all. Okay well  that’s all I have to say for now, I see my foster sibling getting his leash on so I better run! If you would like to learn more about me fill out an application and I will make sure my foster mom gets back to you! If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about The Rescue Crew adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our Adoption Process page on our official website.  All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.  The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Application prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online adoption application here as well. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. ##2084747##
